NATURE & SCOPE:

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist's duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the Blue Jays Stadium. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence, courier and redirecting phone calls. You will also be responsible for data entry of account payables, preparing some financial reports or balance sheets for the Organization.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail.
  • Overseeing our Shipping and receiving of all packages for the Organization using Notify Tracking system
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Coordinate company meetings/organize events/lunches etc. Schedule itineraries
  • Perform accounting Data Entry
  • Input new contacts into our CRM or Excel spreadsheets
  • Provide administration  
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as photocopying, postage machine and faxing
  • Coordinate purchase requisitions, office supplies, kitchen supplies, copier requirements

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Experience in bookkeeping
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school degree

Position: Ticket Operations Supervisor

Supervises: Box Office Staff and game day staff

 

Job Posting

The Ticket Operations Department provides assistance to guests as their first point of contact, including box office staff, greeters and ticket scanners at the entrance for Dunedin Stadium. The Supervisor, Ticket Operations will assist the Ticket Operations department as it relates to ticket sales for Spring Training and Florida State League, box office staffing, cash control, financial reporting, ticket inventory management, and ticket distribution. The Ticket Operations Supervisor will work collaboratively with Blue Jays staff with respect to event operations and will be responsible for knowledge of Ticketmaster ticketing software as it relates to baseball. This individual will be expected to assist with customer service issues relating to seat locations, payments, and general guest experience. This individual will be expected to provide outstanding customer service for all internal and external guests. In addition, the Ticket Operations Supervisor may also assist in general team event set up and community events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in generating revenue by selling single game, season tickets and suite tickets. This is done through both inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Maintain accurate information in the CRM system.
  • Provide detailed reports as they relate to analytics and other assessments to help support and drive Salesforce.
  • Assist with bulk print jobs and mailings to customers.
  • Help prepare and assist part-time box office staff at the stadium.
  • Provide regular review of industry practices relating to ticket sales and distribute to sales staff for review and implementation where practical.
  • Manage Ticket Operations on game days to resolve ticket issues and provide effective service to Season Ticket Members and other guests.
  • Provide support for stadium events and other team functions i.e. community outreach programs.
  • Represent the department at weekly company management meetings and other meetings as necessary.
  • Assist in annual department budget when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Physical Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Two (2) years of Ticket Office experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of computerized ticket sales, preferably the Ticketmaster/Archtics system, as well as cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.
  • General accounting knowledge is considered an asset
  • Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience developing and/or coordinating multi-faceted plans.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated sound organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the internal/external stakeholders, other employees and vendors.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, and dedication.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
