ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER:
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are looking for a responsible, highly motivated individual that takes a great deal of pride in providing great customer service. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager would be responsible for the oversight of pre-game picnic set-up, would assist with product ordering and would be the main contact for our food and beverage point of sale system. This person's job also entails ensuring the stadium provides food and beverage of an outstanding quality along with an appropriate selection and the proper amount at all times. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager would also assist with game day staff interviewing, scheduling and supervision.


Although this position is in the food and beverage segment of our organization, this person would not be directly responsible for (or need a background in) food preparation. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager would work hand-in-hand with the Director of Food & Beverage, the Executive Chef and the Banquet Sales and Events Manager to provide assistance with any and all additional events and tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
• Establish policies and procedures in-line with the philosophy of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers to provide superior food and beverage product along with superior service.
• Assist with menu creation to provide customers with a varied selection to allow for a variety of meal options during a home stand.
• Order concession items to ensure all products are available for each game, primarily through US Foods and Boelter. This will include making arrangements for deliveries.
• Oversee pre-game picnics, club area, six (6) VIP suites, and patio tables.
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise 40 - 50 picnic staff members and hawkers.
• Control inventory and manage product waste.
• Help maintain a clean and safe facility for everyone that enters the complex, from fans to staff.
• Operate food and beverage database to keep record of sales of specific products as well as stand sales for specific dates of the season.
• Responsible for being the point of contact regarding Restaurant Manager, the Timber Rattlers point of sale system.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Associates or Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience working in baseball a must.
• Background in Food and Beverage preferred, but not necessary.

VIDEO PRODUCTION ASSISTANT:
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Production Assistant reports directly to the Production Manager, and is responsible for providing the best entertainment experience possible for our fans, as well as maintaining a clean and professional baseball broadcast. This paid position will begin in March, 2015 and will conclude following the end of the 2015 season.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Shoot and edit news-style video packages of player interviews, community relations events, and entertaining features for videoboard and website
• Compile and edit footage into video highlights following each home game
• Produce and direct Timber Rattlers Pre-Game Show prior to all home games
• Create clean, legible, and professional graphics for use on videoboard and website
• Develop and execute plans for all 'Theme Nights' during the season
• Archive, log, and maintain game footage and fan shots for future use
• Assist in game production and entertainment for all home games
• Generate and execute new concepts for in-game entertainment features and promotions
• Create a top-notch entertainment experience and exciting atmosphere for fans
• Other duties as assigned in a complete and timely fashion

ASSISTANT GROUNDSKEEPER:
Employment: Full Time - Seasonal
Compensation: Monthly Salary, based on experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Maintain mound, plate, bullpens, and skinned area
• Set-up and tear down of batting practice
• Set-up, tear down, and repair of games
• Assist in mowing, fertilizing, and edging
• Assist in tarp cover and removal during rain situations
• Assist in the upkeep of a sand based, Kentucky Bluegrass playing field
• Responsible for maintenance of outside landscape

REQUIREMENTS:
• Grounds experience is preferred
• 2 or 4 year degree in Turf Management is preferred
• Must be able to work long hours, often on weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to operate grounds equipment in a safe and effectively
• Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to take direction and perform effectively under pressure
• The preferred applicant will be highly motivated, willing to learn, have a great attention to detail, and have a tremendous work ethic

GROUNDSKEEPER INTERN:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a paid internship position. The position starts in March and runs through early September. Exact dates are flexible depending on school schedule. Duties include but are not limited to; preparing the infield skin, mound, plate, and bullpens, assisting in tarp pulls, setting and tearing down batting practice, pre-game field preparation, as well as all aspects of turf maintenance including: edging, sod work, mowing, setting in patterns, and irrigation repair and maintenance. Pay is based on experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have an interest in sports field maintenance. Enrollment in or recent Graduation from a two or four year turf grass, agronomy, horticulture, or soil science program is preferred, but not required. Baseball field maintenance experience in any level is preferred, but not required. Individuals must be able to:
• Wok long hours
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Highly motivated, willing to learn, and ability to follow directions.
