McDermott Field History

Built in 1940, McDermott Field has fielded the longest continual member of the Pioneer League. After fire damage in 1975, the main grandstand was rebuilt for the 1976 season. Following the 2006 season, McDermott Field was demolished making way for Idaho Falls' new ballpark.
