Throughout the year the Elizabethton Twins play a very important role in our community. During the winter months Twins Baseball is very active working closely with non-profit organizations that are in need of Twins memorabilia items for various fundraising events. These donated items continue to raise thousands of dollars for area schools, churches, youth and community support organizations.
During the season, Twins Baseball is a big hit both on and off the field. Players and our Coaching Staff visit numerous businesses, churches, and schools throughout the area. Visits are also made to our local Children's Hospital and several youth organizations such as our Boys and Girls Club.
The impact Twins Baseball has on our community can truly be seen in the promotional events that take place at Joe O'Brien Field each season. Teaming up with our local United Way, Relay For Life and the Shepherd's Inn is one way Twins Baseball can make a direct impact to our friends and neighbors. Local churches schedule numerous fundraising events at the stadium and our canned food drive receives tremendous support from our fans.
Twins Baseball is more than just a game. It is a way of life in Elizabethton one that continues to give back to our local community.
