The Salem Red Sox are a sports team dedicated to helping our community. We believe in using baseball and entertainment as a backdrop in supporting and assisting in strengthening the Roanoke Valley and surrounding communities, along with State and National organizations. While we are a summer sport, we do work in the community 12 months a year through mascot appearances at schools & local events, donations to fundraisers, Red Sox reading program, staff volunteer work and much more. With the introduction of our annual Hot Stove Banquet, we now have a marquee event to help raise funds for local charities.
The Salem Red Sox are holding a silent auction during the Salem-Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame Annual Dinner, date and time still to be determined, at the Salem Civic Center! All proceeds from the silent auction will go to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Roanoke Valley. To purchase tickets to the event or for more information, email Salem Red Sox Assistant General Manager, Allen Lawrence, at email@example.com.

Wednesdays at LewisGale Field feature a special Community Outreach initiative called "Pack the Park For Charity." Any non-profit organization can generate revenue through the sale of discounted Salem Red Sox tickets for their specific game and utilize LewisGale Field to share their goodwill message. The Salem Red Sox will donate an additional $0.50 per every full priced ticket sold as a walk-up on the date of their game. This means the more people that "pack the park" at LewisGale Field, the more revenue generated for a worthwhile cause. Support your favorite team in the Roanoke Valley and a great cause at the same time!
