Stadium Information

General Information

Grand Opening -- April 18, 2005. Braves lost to Montgomery, 11-6.

Location -- Between Childre Road and Bass Pro Drive in Pearl, MS. Near the junction of I-55 and I-20.

Seating -- Two levels of seating supported by one wrap-around concourse. Dugout and Field Level seats are below the concourse and the Suite Level. The second level, the Suite Level, includes 22 luxury suites that allow fans to personalize their Braves experience. Fans can also enjoy 'picnic style' seating on the berm beyond the center field wall.

Capacity -- With a capacity of 8,480, Trustmark Park ranks 4th in the Southern League behind Jacksonville, Birmingham, and Huntsville in total seating capacity. To add to the fan experience, each seat in the seating bowl has a chairback, arm rest, and cupholders.

Playing Field -- Approximately 110,000 square feet of tifway 419 hybrid bermuda grass. Under the playing surface lies 8,000 feet of drainage pipes connected to three 40 horse power engines that can pump from eight to 10 inches of water an hour. The field irrigation system has 70 sprinkler heads that spray 30 gallons of water per minute. The turf for the field is grown in the bullpens.

Field Dimensions -- The field dimensions are 330' down the left field line, 402' to center field, and 332' down the right field line.

Entry Plaza -- The main entrance to Trustmark Park was built as a welcoming mat into the stadium. The entrance includes the main ticket window, the Braves' offices, the Extra Innings Team Store, and a scrolling matrix board.

Extra Innings Team Store -- The Extra Innings Team Store features the latest in Mississippi and Atlanta Braves merchandise. Fans can get everything from clothing to team baseball card sets.

Farm Bureau Grill -- The Farm Bureau Grill is a full service restaurant beyond the right field wall that overlooks the playing field and is open year 'round to the public as well as for parties, meetings, and corporate events.

MassMutal Family Fun Zone -- The Fun Zone houses a variety of inflatable and interactive activities for children including an inflatable slide and a speed pitch and wiffle ball cage, just to name a few.

Bud Light Picnic Pavilion -- Picnic Pavilion in left field is a two-tiered, catered seating area down the third base line that seats up to 325 fans.

Disabled Seating -- The entire stadium is wheelchair accessible and is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Braves Baseball Directions

From North of Jackson: (1-55 S, I-20 E) Take I-55 S toward McComb. Merge onto 1-20 E via Exit 94 toward Meridian/Hattiesburg. Take the MS-49 exit (Exit 47 b) toward Flowood and merge onto MS-49. Turn Right onto Highway 80 at the stoplight. Turn Right on Bass Pro Drive and follow Bass Pro Drive and turn left into the North or South Parking Lots of the Stadium.

From South of Jackson: (I-55 N, I-20E) Take I-55 N toward Jackson. Merge onto I-20 E via EXIT 92 B toward Meridian. Take the MS-49 exit (Exit 47) toward Flowood and merge onto MS-49. Turn Right onto Highway 80 at the stoplight. Turn Right on Bass Pro Drive and follow Bass Pro Drive and turn left into the North or South Parking Lots of the Stadium.

From South of Jackson: (MS Hwy 49) Take the MS-49 exit (Exit 47 b) toward Flowood and merge onto MS-49. Turn Right onto Highway 80 at the stoplight. Turn Right on Bass Pro Drive and follow Bass Pro Drive and turn left into the North or South Parking Lots of the Stadium.

From West of Jackson: (MS Hwy 80) From MS-80, after the MS-49 stoplight, turn Right on Bass Pro Drive and follow Bass Pro Drive and turn left into the North or South Parking Lots of the Stadium.

From East of Jackson: (MS Hwy 80) From MS-80, turn Right on Childre Drive and follow Childre Drive south and turn right into the North or South Parking Lots of the Stadium.

From East of Jackson: (I-20 W) From I-20 westbound, take the MS-49 exit (Exit 47) toward Flowood and merge onto MS-49. Turn Right onto Highway 80 at the stoplight. Turn Right on Bass Pro Drive and follow Bass Pro Drive and turn left into the North or South Parking Lots of the Stadium.
