In 2011, despite the rainiest April on record and above average rainfall in May, the Red Wings' paid attendance was 448,024 (average 6,493). That ranked us 24th among the 174 Minor League Baseball franchises.

The Red Wings and Frontier Field have been selected to host the New York Yankees' Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre club for 37 games in 2012, while the Scranton ballpark undergoes major renovations.
