You receive a discount on tickets (redeemable for any game excluding exhibitions, concerts, and playoffs), ability to purchase additional books after Opening Day, and ability to upgrade when exchanging your vouchers.
The Red Wings offer three types of voucher books:

Establish a line of credit at the Red Wings' Box Office and receive a special membership card, discount on tickets, ability to order tickets over the phone using your card, and option to add tickets to your account after Opening Day. Redeemable for any game excluding playoffs, concerts, and exhibitions.
