Biography:

Jonathan "Jay" Blair hails from Paris, IL. Jay graduated from the University of Illinois in 2007 and is an avid Fighting Illini football and basketball fan.

The 2013 season marks Jay's seventh year in baseball and fourth with the G-Braves. He originally started as a trainee with the Richmond Braves in 2007. Jay went on to work two seasons with the Low-A Delmarva Shorebirds of the Baltimore Orioles organization as the Director of Operations before joining the G-Braves for their inaugural season in 2009.

When not at the stadium he enjoys spending time with his wife Megan, playing fetch with their dog Izzy, golfing and enjoying the outdoors.
