OPEN POSITIONS:

 

Ticket Operations Coordinator

The Ticket Operations Coordinator reports to the Director of Ticket Sales and is responsible for ticket operations and administrative responsibilities of the ticket department of the Whitecaps. The Ticket Operations Coordinator is also responsible for some ticket sales duties including developing inside and outside ticket sales prospects and managing aspects of the group, plan and single game ticket fulfillment process to ensure fan satisfaction.

Type of prior related experience:
Prior ticket operations experience preferred.
Sales and customer service experience preferred.

Education level:
High school diploma required.
Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Head Groundskeeper

The Head Groundskeeper ensures the aesthetics and the efficient operation of the playing surface and turf and grounds at Fifth Third Ballpark by caring for and supervising the use of the field while maintaining it in the highest quality condition. The Head Groundskeeper also assists the facility maintenance department as needed during the off season. The Head Groundskeeper works closely with Major League Affiliate, coaches and players to develop positive relationship representing The Whitecaps brand and image.

Type of prior related experience:
Some prior grounds maintenance experience preferred.
Management or team leadership experience preferred.

Education level:
High school diploma required.
Two year Technical Certificate, Associates Degree or Bachelors of Science BS in a relative degree program such as Turfgrass Management, Crop and Soil, Agronomics, Turfgrass Science or Sports Field Management required.

Certifications, Licenses or special training needed:
STMA Certified Sports Field Manager CSFM preferred.
Valid Driver's License required.

Detroit Tigers TrackMan Operator

The Detroit Tigers are looking for a TrackMan Operator to assist their affiliates day of game. This position will report to the Director of Baseball Operations.

Qualified candidate must be motivated, well organized, and detail orientated.
- Previous experience using TrackMan software is preferred but not required.
- Preferred candidate lives in proximity to affiliate location.
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Ticket Sales Consultant

The Ticket Sales Consultant reports to the Director of Ticket Sales and is responsible for developing inside and outside ticket sales prospects and managing all aspects of the group, plan and single game ticket fulfillment process to ensure fan satisfaction. Duties will include managing current single game, plan and group ticket clients as well as engaging new ticket clients to generate new business in coordination with organizational revenue objectives.

Type of prior related experience:
Prior ticket sales and Minor League baseball/sports experience preferred. Sales experience a plus.

Education level:
High school diploma required. Associates, Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses or special training needed:
Sales training a plus
