Michael has served the TinCaps as Vice President of Marketing since May of 2008, when he rejoined the team after a two-year hiatus in Chapel Hill, N.C., where he earned a Master's degree in Sport Administration. Prior to his leave of absence from the team, Michael spent seven years in the Summit City working for Fort Wayne's Minor League Baseball team as an Intern, Graphic Designer, and then as the team's Marketing Director.
Michael has been married to Farrah, a native Hoosier, since September of 2004. They love to explore Indiana, including covered bridges, hiking trails, streams and wherever a canoe or paddleboat will take them.
Michael was born in Sandwich, Illinois (to which he attributes his vast appetite), has a B-positive blood type (which explains his sunny disposition), spent four years in San Diego (acquiring his laid back attitude), seven years in Northern California (enjoying the outdoors), four years attending Valparaiso University (building his affinity for the underdog and belief in miracles), and two years in North Carolina (where he learned that rooting for the favorite can be fun too).
Three things you don't know about Michael: He is a San Francisco Giants fan, Anson Dorrance and Big Daddy Weave have both ridden in his car, and he reads the Watson Files religiously.
