Allan Wertheimer Video Production Manager
wertheimer@tincaps.com

Allan Wertheimer joined the TinCaps for the 2009 season as the team's first-ever Video Production Manager. He hails from Farmington Hills, Michigan and went to trade school at Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. Allan followed that up by attending Central Michigan University where he graduated in December 2008 with a major in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts and a minor in Journalism.

His mother (Cheryl) and a father (Stuart), who he loves very much, still reside in Michigan, while his sister (Sharon) and Brother in-law (Josh) reside in Chicago.

Allan is an avid Detroit sports fan. He is a HUGE Detroit Pistons fan and since moving to Fort Wayne, Allan has had to order the NBA League Pass so he can still watch every game they play.

Allan's past video production experience includes working two years with the Great Lakes Loons (also in the Midwest League) where he was the Closed Circuit Television Director. He also worked on making graphics for the video scoreboard for the Chippewas of Central Michigan University. Allan also has worked in television news as a Newscast Director for three years at WILX TV-10 (NBC) in Lansing, worked as a Production Assistant at WNEM TV-5 (CBS) for a year, and interned in the sports department at WXYZ (ABC) in Detroit.

In his spare time he likes to travel to other baseball stadiums to see how he can take what they do and use here at Parkview Field. He also likes to watch college football, college basketball, NHL and the NBA in his spare time. He also is a food connoisseur, but only if the food is free!

The best sporting event he has witnessed live was when Central Michigan kicked a 42 yard field goal with 3 seconds left in the game to beat Michigan State 29 - 27 in 2009.
