Abby Naas has been with the TinCaps since January 2009. She handles all on-field promotions, organizational donation requests and community relations for the TinCaps.
Abby was born and raised in Davie, Florida, just outside Fort Lauderdale. As the youngest of four, Abby spent most of her childhood trying to play all kinds of sports, finding out that being a fan is a better skill for her to follow. Although her coordination is resting near bare minimum, Abby still enjoys playing football, volleyball and anything else that requires outdoor time.
After high school, Abby headed to the west coast of Florida and attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers where she received a B.S. in Sport Management. In her four years in Fort Myers she had an internship with the Fort Myers Miracle baseball team (Twins affiliate) and spent two years serving as the Community Relations Director/Media Relations Assistant with the Florida Firecats, an arena football team in the af2 league.
Abby migrated here from "The Swamp" and is finding the Fort Wayne winter to be a bit more drastic than her Florida roots had ever handled before. She is a diehard Florida Gator and prides herself on all the success her boys have had. Abby also loves the Miami Dolphins and the Minnesota Twins.
In her free time, Abby enjoys watching movies, cheering on her sports teams and reading.
The most fun Abby has ever had was being in the Georgia Dome for the 2006 SEC Championship football game.
