Karen joined the TinCaps in January of 2009 as the Merchandise Manager. Her previous experience in Minor League Baseball includes being an Operations Intern for the Frisco RoughRiders in Texas, Operations Manager and Event Services Coordinator with the Greenville Drive in South Carolina.

Karen grew up in a very small town of Newkirk, OK with 8 older siblings, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. She is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a bachelor's degree in General Business.

Karen enjoys playing all sports...with the giant exception of bowling. In 2009, Karen completed her first half marathon. When there is actually time away from The Orchard, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, especially the Oklahoma State Cowboys and St Louis Cardinals, cooking and baking.

Karen's favorite sports memory is the entire 2009 Fort Wayne TinCaps baseball season. Midwest League Champions!!!
