Each season, the Great Lakes Loons seek a number of seasonal game day employees to help make Dow Diamond the best experience it can be for 70 Loons home games during the summer. The Loons also have internships opportunities in the areas of finance, operations, marketing & promotions, ticketing & box office, video production, radio (ESPN 100.9-FM), field maintenance, corporate partnerships and business operations.

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to fill a variety of positions for the 2013 season, beginning April 4. Janitorial/Maintenance Position

Job Description:
Have Fun! Janitorial/Maintenance/Setup will provide the primary level of guest assistance in keeping facility clean and safe no matter the area of the facility you will be in charge of. Prepare for special events when needed. Be able to answer guest questions in regards to locations for restrooms, smoking area, guest services, food carts, special needs, etc. Must act upon all comments/complaints in a prompt and friendly manner and know all aspects of safety, emergency and evacuation policies.

Loon's Expectations:
Qualified candidates must be creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing individuals that truly enjoy having FUN. Must be able to work flexible hours including day, evening, weekend and holiday hours. Must arrive at work properly dressed - cleaned and pressed! Khaki pants, Loons shirt, clean white tennis shoes. No visible tattoos, appropriate jewelry! If you're not sure - ASK!

Physical Demands:
Ability to be on your feet in one spot for extended periods of time. Ability to use stairs. Ability to push 250 pounds. Ability to use chemicals and latex. Ability to withstand outdoor elements: heat or cold.
Compensation: $8.50/hr
 

Post Event Cleaning Position

Job Description:
Have Fun! Post Event Cleaning employee will provide detailed facility clean-up which can include exterior and interior cleaning. Power washing will be included in daily duties. Job will be primarily during mornings into early afternoon with the exception of Saturday games which would require late night cleaning.

Qualified candidates must be creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing individuals that truly enjoy having FUN. Must be able to work flexible hours including day, evening, weekend and holiday hours. Must arrive at work properly dressed - cleaned and pressed! Khaki pants, Loons shirt, clean white tennis shoes.
