General Manager

A Cleveland, OH native, Eric was named General Manager of Northwest Arkansas' first professional baseball franchise in October of 2006.  Eric came to Springdale after serving for three seasons as General Manager of the Wichita Wranglers, the Royals' Texas League affiliate which moved to Northwest Arkansas to become the Naturals.  Edelstein has been with the Naturals' ownership group, Rich Baseball, since 2000.  Prior to joining Wichita, he served as General Manager for the Jamestown Jammers, the New York-Penn League Class-A Short Season affiliate of the Florida Marlins.  From 2000-2002, Edelstein was the Sponsorship Sales Coordinator for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.

Eric's baseball career began in 1996 when he served as a PR Intern for the Cleveland Indians while still in high school.  He then worked three seasons in the ballpark operations department at Jacobs Field while attending college at Bowling Green State University.  He graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a Sport Organization Management minor.  Eric's favorite teams include the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Eric resides in Springdale and was named by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal as a 2008 class of 40-under-40, recognizing 40 of the top young professionals in the region.  Edelstein was also a co-recipient of the 2008 Texas League Executive of the Year award.
