2013 Summer Internships

The Everett AquaSox Baseball Club is the Class-A Northwest League affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, and the 2010 NWL Champions. Everett is 30 miles north of Safeco Field, making us one of the closest minor-league teams to any major-league team. The fact that this is also our affiliate opens doors for a close working relationship. Our proximity to Seattle also offers you the chance to explore continuing employment opportunities with a variety of major professional and college sports. Our geographical area has been consistently rated as one of the best places to live and work in the country.
This position is seasonal, but commitment to us and a demonstration of a high level of performance will assure a similar commitment and performance on our part to help you further your career - with either us or another club or sport. Everett alumni can be found at many levels of the game, including the major and minor leagues, as well as in college athletic marketing departments and other sports-related areas.

Required Skills:
Friendly, enthusiastic, reliable;
Strong people skills;
Ability to take directions, prioritize, and multi-task;
Above average computer skills;
Valid driver's license, insurance and good driving record;
A strong desire to pursue a career in professional sports.
Currently enrolled in college classes (eligible to receive internship credit)

Internships for the upcoming season are available in the following areas:
• Ticket Sales / Ticket Operations
• Sponsorships
• Food & Beverage
• Media Relations
• Grounds Crew / Stadium Operations

In addition to the above areas of focus, interns will have the opportunity to learn all areas of the operation throughout the summer.
