Allan Benavides, General Manager - allan@emeraldsbaseball.com

Allan enters his sixth season as General Manager of the Emeralds and tenth season in minor league baseball. He spent five of the previous seasons with the Lake Elsinore Storm (High-A) of the California League where he served three years as Assistant General Manager. His focus in minor league baseball has always been affordable, family entertainment. His focus on entertainment stems from previous work in Hollywood as an agent's assistant and junior talent manager.
Since arriving in Eugene, Benavides has taken an active role in community involvement. He currently sits on the board for the Emerald Valley Boys and Girls Club, Eugene Little League and is a member of the Eugene Downtown Rotary Club. He also served on the steering committee for the Latino Business Network.
He is a native of Los Angeles, Ca which explains his deep love for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Allan enjoys snowboarding, playing guitar with his eleven-year-old son Christian, spending time with his wife Caitlin and absolutely destroying golf courses in Lane County.

 


 Sarah Heth, Assistant General Manager - sarah@emeraldsbaseball.com

Heading into her fifth season with the Emeralds, 2015 will mark Sarah's 16th season in Minor League Baseball. After graduating from St. Norbert College with a degree in psychology and communication, Sarah joined the independent Joliet JackHammers as their Director of Community Relations and Promotions. Since then, she has worked for the Lake Elsinore Storm (San Diego Padres High-A affiliate) as their Director of Game Operations, Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles Triple-A affiliate) in corporate sales and promotions, and-most recently before coming to Eugene-with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers Single-A affiliate) as their Director of Corporate Marketing. She has also served as on-field emcee for six of her 16 seasons.

Sarah is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin.

 

 

 


Matt Dompe, Assistant General Manager; Director of Finance & Play-by-Play Broadcaster - matt@emeraldsbaseball.com

Matt earned his MBA from the University of Oregon in June 2013 after graduating from UCLA in 2005 with a degree in Business-Economics. Matt is entering his fourth season as Ems Radio broadcaster, sixth year with the organization, and tenth in professional baseball. Originally from San Jose, CA, he spent three seasons with the Lake Elsinore Storm (San Diego Padres Advanced-A affiliate) of the Cal League and managed to avoid winter for two years by working on the launch of the new Australian Baseball League.

He likes: NW IPA's, Day Games and long walks in the short grass...dislikes: the designated hitter and anything that has to do with U$C.

 


Nikki Ochs, Director of Food and Beverage - nikki@emeraldsbaseball.com

Nichole Nikki Ochs was born in Springfield, Missouri. After attending Saint Edwards University in Austin, Texas, Nikki embarked on many life adventures, before realizing her deep passion for food. The Emeralds fell in love with Nikki when she won a local hot dog eating contest. She can commonly be seen eating ballpark food and drinking an ice-cold beer.

 

 

 

 

 

 


 Chris Bowers, Event Manager - chris@emeraldsbaseball.com

Chris is entering his fourth season with the Emeralds. He was an intern for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. He is a current student at the University of Oregon studying Economics and Business. In his spare time Chris loves rooting for his beloved Ducks and Portland Trailblazers. He enjoys a nice bow tie, long walks on the beach, beautiful sunsets, and romantic candle lit dinners.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Danny Cowley, Graphic Designer - danny@emeraldsbaseball.com

Danny is entering his fourth season with the Emeralds. He graduated from the University of Oregon's graphic design program in 2009. He has put his design skills to use as free lance graphic designer and exhibit preparator for the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art before interning with the Emeralds for the 2012 season. Danny, being from Roseburg, Oregon, is an avid Duck fan and grew up attending Ems games at Civic Stadium.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Peter Billups, Director of Tickets - peter@emeraldsbaseball.com

Peter will be entering his first season with the Eugene Emeralds and fifth season in Minor League Baseball. Pete is originally from just outside Richmond, Virginia. Before joining the Emeralds staff, Billups graduated from James Madison University in December of 2012 and interned two seasons (2011 and 2012) with the Aberdeen IronBirds (short season class A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) while completing his degree. After graduating, Pete moved west and spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Modesto Nuts (high class A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies) in the California League. While not at the ballpark, Pete spends his free time playing golf, watching sports, traveling, exploring the country side, making memories, and reminiscing on the good ole days.

 

 

 


Patrick Zajac, Ticket Sales Representative - patrick@emeraldsbaseball.com

Patrick is entering his second season with the Emeralds. He was an intern for the 2014 season. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 2014 earning a degree in Business with a concentration in Sports Business. Before joining the Emeralds, Patrick interned for the Los Angeles Brewers in the California Collegiate League, where he discovered his dream of working for a Major League Baseball front office someday. Born and raised in Orange County, California, he loves rooting for the Angels, Chargers, and Clippers. Contrary to popular belief, Pat Zajac is in no way related to, or affiliated with, Pat Sajack, the longtime host of Wheel of Fortune.
