Allan Benavides, General Manager allan@emeraldsbaseball.com
Allan enters his fourth season as General Manager of the Emeralds and ninth season in minor league baseball. He spent five of the previous seasons with the Lake Elsinore Storm (High-A) of the California League where he served three years as Assistant General Manager. His focus in minor league baseball has always been affordable, family entertainment. His focus on entertainment stems from previous work in Hollywood as an agent's assistant and junior talent manager.
Since arriving in Eugene, Benavides has taken an active role in community involvement. He currently sits on the board for the Emerald Valley Boys and Girls Club, Eugene Little League and is a member of the Eugene Downtown Rotary Club. He also served on the steering committee for the Latino Business Network.
He is a native of Los Angeles, Ca which explains his deep love for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is a a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Allan enjoys snowboarding, playing guitar with his ten-year-old son Christian, spending time with his wife Caitlin and absolutely destroying golf courses in Lane County.

Heading into her third season with the Emeralds, 2013 will mark Sarah's 13th season in Minor League Baseball. After graduating from St. Norbert College with a degree in psychology and communication, Sarah joined the independent Joliet JackHammers as their Director of Community Relations and Promotions. Since then, she has worked for the Lake Elsinore Storm (San Diego Padres High-A affiliate) as their Director of Game Operations, Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles Triple-A affiliate) in corporate sales and promotions, and-most recently before coming to Eugene-with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers Single-A affiliate) as their Director of Corporate Marketing. She has also served as on-field emcee for six of her 12 seasons.
Sarah is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin.

Currently a student in the Univ. of Oregon Executive MBA program, Matt graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a degree in Business-Economics. Matt is entering his second season as Ems Radio broadcaster, fourth year with the organization, and ninth in professional baseball. Originally from San Jose, CA, he spent three seasons with the Lake Elsinore Storm (San Diego Padres Advanced-A affiliate) of the Cal League and managed to avoid winter for two years by working on the launch of the new Australian Baseball League.
He likes: NW IPA's, Day Games and long walks in the short grass...dislikes: the designated hitter and anything that has to do with U$C.

Andy is entering his third season with the Ems and yes that is a clip-on tie. He recently graduated from the University of Oregon, double majoring in Accounting and Economics, with the hopes of eventually earning his CPA. Andy was previously an accounting intern at a property management company in San Francisco. The 24-year-old is from Concord, California and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.

Tyler is entering his third season with the Ems. He started as an intern in 2011 and graduated in the Spring of '12 from the University of Oregon with a degree in economics and a minor in business. He played two seasons of baseball at Cosumnes River College in Elk Grove, California before transferring to the U of O. The 23-year-old is from El Dorado Hills, California and enjoys a nice IPA (credit due to Ninkasi Brewery and not Matt), watching Allan do crossfit, and living/dying with the Ducks on Saturdays.

Fei is entering her second season with the Emeralds. Not only a local of Eugene but also an avid Duck fan who comes to us after working six years for the University of Oregon Athletic Dept. Ticket office. Fei attended South Eugene HS and graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Geography. She enjoys a good cold beer while watching her Ducks Win The Day and is looking forward to another season with the Ems!

Danny is entering his second season with the Emeralds. He graduated from the University of Oregon's graphic design program in 2009. He has put his design skills to use as free lance graphic designer and exhibit preparator for the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art before interning with the Emeralds for the 2012 season. Danny, being from Roseburg, Oregon, is an avid Duck fan and grew up attending Ems games at Civic Stadium.

Ed is entering his second season with the Ems. After "escaping" from his hometown of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Ed received a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Oregon. Ed enjoys short walks on the beach, romantic candle lit lunches, and rooting for the Ducks, Trailblazers and Seahawks. Ed was also one of the men behind the mask of Puddles the Duck for four years.
