Jason Compton
General Manager

Jason enters his 12th season with the Jackson Generals and first as the General Manager. The Huntingdon native was an intern with the Diamond Jaxx during the 2000 Southern League Championship season and then was hired full time in July of 2001. He has worked in many different positions within the organization. He was Director of Ticketing & Merchandise, Director of Group Sales and Assistant General Manager from 2008 to 2011.

Jason graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1997, and then went on to receive a bachelors degree in Sport Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2001. When Jason is not at Pringles Park, he is found cheering for his beloved Tennessee Vols or the St. Louis Cardinals. Jason and his wife, Autumn, live in Jackson with their son, Carter Neyland and daughter Chloe..

Theresa Barnett
Accounting Manager

Theresa Barnett begins her third season with the Jackson Genereals as the Accounting Manager. Before joining the organization, she worked for TransUnion, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and ConAgra Foods where her jobs included Staff Accountant, Senior Financial Analyst, and Senior Business Analyst, among others.

Theresa is a Chicago native and graduated from DePaul University with degrees in both Accounting and Finance. She now resides in Jackson, Tennessee with her husband, Evan and son Elijah.

When she is not working, Theresa likes to spend her time with her husband experimenting different recipes, watching movies, and watching Tennessee Vols basketball and football.

Kurt Brown
Manager of Catering and Concessions

Kurt Brown, a native West Tennessean and begins his seventh season with the Generals, his fourth as Manager of Catering and Concessions. Before being hired full time, he studied political science at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He has traveled to numerous ballparks and other entertainment venues to research concessions and to bring the ideas back to the "Big Chip". Although he has found the best thing that can be offered at the ballpark is free, a big smile!

When not at Pringles Park, Kurt can be found singing in his country/gospel band, cheering on the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and the Texas Rangers, or doing his favorite! He spends a lot of time with his two "children"; Junior, a 15 year old Basset/Beagle mix, and Dog, a 2 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever! Kurt is very active in state and local politics, with plans to run for office within the next couple of years.

Kurt has developed a motto for the Department of Catering and Concessions "Quality People, Serving Quality Food, to Quality People, with a big Smile and a heaping portion of Southern Hospitality!" and as always he wishes you "Best Dishes and Good Eating!!!"

Chris Harris
Manager of Media Relations and Broadcasting

Chris Harris begins his fourth year with the Jackson Generals as the teams Manager of Media Relations and Broadcasting. For the last six years, Chris has done play by play work for the TSSAA Radio Network calling many State Championship Events in football, baseball, and basketball. Prior to joining the Generals he was Voice of his alma mater, Bethel's basketball and football teams as well as hosting a weekday afternoon talk show on West Tennessee's ESPN Radio affiliate.

Harris resides in Lexington, TN and is a graduate of Jackson Christian where he was a standout in baseball and basketball, having his name in the TSSAA baseball record books in several offensive categories. Chris holds an Associate's Degree from Jackson State and a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Bethel University. In his spare time, Harris is a die-hard University of Memphis Tigers fan.

Tyler Brewer
Turf Manager

Tyler begins his third season with the Generals. He grew up in Mt. Pleasant, TN, where he played both football and baseball. He later graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in agronomy with an emphasis in golf and sports turf management. At MSU, Tyler was a member of the sports turf staff, where he was responsible for managing all of the sports fields on campus. Tyler and his wife Blair are proud parents of a baby girl, Journey . In his spare time, he enjoys hunting deer and ducks, fishing, and routing for his MSU Bulldogs. Hail State!.

Hunter Ellington
Manager of Ticketing and Merchandise

Hunter begins his fourth season with the Generals and first as Manager of Ticketing and Merchandise Sales. He is a 2006 graduate of Liberty High School. He spent two years at Union University before transferring to Lambuth University to play tennis. Hunter was a Business and Marketing major.

He is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on his Tennessee Vols. He also enjoys playing tennis, working out and loves his 3 dogs Bella, Barnabas and Hippa.

C.J. Fedewa
Manager of Home Clubhouse Operations

C.J. begins his fourth year with the Jackson Generals and second as Home Clubhouse Manager. The Clare, Michigan native graduated from Central Michigan University in 2009, with a degree in Sport Management.

He is an avid sports fan and with his free time loves watching and playing all types of sports. He loves watching the Detroit Pistons, Michigan State and North Carolina athletics.

Dustin Smith
Manager of Visiting Clubhouse

Dustin begins his third season with the Generals and first as the Visiting Clubhouse Manager. He was born and raised in Midland, MI. He graduated from Central Michigan University in 2010 with a degree in Sports Management and Business Administration.

When Dustin isn't at Pringles Park, he enjoys cheering for the Michigan State Spartans, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers and also the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoys hanging out with his wife Lindsay, family, friends and his pet cat, Jack.

Justin Bernhard
Sales Executive

Justin is excited to begin his first season with the Jackson Generals. A native of the Philadelphia suburbs, Justin played both baseball and football in high school, and went on to play football at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. While at Moravian, Justin earned a bachelor's degree in Business Management. Justin went on to spend two seasons as an intern for the Reading Phillies in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Being from the Philly area, he is a fan of everything Philly sports, with a mix of the Michigan Wolverines, and Navy Midshipmen! In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and playing sports of all kinds. He will be getting married to Laura Hassall on September 22, 2012!

Xan Stewart
Sales Executive

Xan begins his second season with the Generals. He was born and raised in Jackson, TN, where he attended Liberty High School and played baseball. He graduated with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

When he is not working, he enjoys various outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, but most of all cheering on the Tennessee Vols!

Robert Jones
Director of Stadium Operations

Robert begins his 10th season as Director of Stadium Operations. He is a native Tennessean and graduate of Liberty University where he received a BS in Education with emphasis in three additional career fields of study.

Prior to joining the Jackson Generals, Robert completed two highly successful careers as an executive manager and leader in Law Enforcement and the United States Army.

Laura Hassall
Administrative Assistant

Laura begins her first year with the Generals. She is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has a Bachelor's in English from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

In her free time, Laura is planning a wedding with another current staff member, Justin Bernhard. Their wedding date is set to be after season on September 22, 2012. Her and her fiancé are excited to have moved down south and are enjoying the Jackson area!

Bradley Field
Media Relations Assitant

Bradley is in his first year with the Jackson Generals. His responsibilities include the Generals website, social media, publications and media relations duties. He graduated from Milan High School in 2008 and will (hopefully) graduate from Freed-Hardeman University in May with a BA in Media Arts. Bradley is a very active sports fan and serves as the Sports Programming Director at FM91, FHU's campus radio station. He enjoys going to Nashville Predators and Memphis Grizzlies games. He is also a long-suffering Chicago Cubs fan.
