The Nashville Sounds are willing to assist the community by donating items such as tickets or merchandise to disadvantaged youth, development and educational programs, youth baseball programs and medical research organizations. Preference is given to organizations and requests that address one or more of these areas of focus. To assure fairness, we do not give monetary donations and all donations are made based on availability.
The Sounds support many programs and organizations. However, due to an overwhelming amount of inquiries, we are unable to fulfill requests that are not from Tennessee or the Southern Kentucky area. Thank you for your understanding.
In order to be considered for a donation from the Nashville Sounds Foundation, an organization must be a certified local 501(c)(3) charitable entity. Written proof of an organization's charitable status must be provided and must include a federal tax identification number.
Other facts to be considered are: date of event, type of event, who benefits from the event, history of organization and event, and the type of donation they are asking for and how it will be used to generate proceeds.
A standard form must be completed and submitted along with a formal request written on foundation letterhead. One donation may be requested by each foundation per calendar year. The Sounds Foundation cannot accept items to be autographed, but may have autographed items available from time to time, typically through our gameday or online auctions.
Interested organizations should contact the Nashville Sounds Community Relations department as detailed below.
To request a donation, return a completed Nashville Sounds Donation Request Form , at least four weeks before the event, to the address or number below.
NOTE: Please print a blank form and complete it by hand, then fax the form to the number listed at the bottom of the form.
