Parking

Are you wondering where to park when you make your visit to see the Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field? This question was asked time and time again during the initial stages of ballpark construction, as many people were unfamiliar with the amount of parking available in downtown Toledo.

To give you an idea of how much parking is available around the ballpark, within 1/4 of a mile of the ballpark, there are 6,623 parking spaces. Vehicle occupancy is calculated at 2.4 persons per vehicle so this is enough parking to fill a stadium that holds 15,600 people.

The capacity of Fifth Third Field is 10,300, so it's plain to see that within only a quarter of a mile of the ballpark, there is an abundance of parking for Mud Hens Fans.

In a survey taken after the 2002 season only 7% of people surveyed had any concerns about parking. In the same survey, on a scale from 1 to 5 (1 having no impact and 5 having the most positive impact) fans rated accessible parking a 4.2 showing that they were very satisfied with the amount of parking available. Finally, over 90% of those people surveyed said the parking met or exceeded their expectations.
