Brad Starr

Hooks Clubhouse Manager

Brad begins his eighth campaign as the Hooks' clubhouse manager.

A native of Kissimmee, Fla., Brad spent 2009 with the Astros, assisting Dennis Liborio in the team's home clubhouse. He had worked at Whataburger Field since 2006 before joining Houston when the Hooks' 2008 home season ended in late August.

Brad entered the Astros system after spending four years with the top farm clubs of the Milwaukee Brewers. In 2005, he served as the visiting clubhouse manager at Herschel Greer Stadium, home of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds, who won the Pacific Coast League title. Prior to his stint in Nashville, Brad crafted a three-year tenure as the home clubhouse manager for the Double-A Huntsville Stars.

He earned his Associates' degree in General Studies from Valencia Community College in Orlando in 2003. His career in professional baseball began in 1999 with two seasons as visiting clubhouse manager for the Astros' Kissimmee Cobras of the Florida State League.

Brad, known for his cooking prowess among players and team personnel, is not shy about his abilities in the kitchen and laundry room. Just ask. He is also the premier attraction on the Hooks Ownership Experience.
