10th Inning Sacrifice Fly Lifts Giants To Victory

Bobby Haney's bases loaded sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning scored the winning run to lift the San Jose Giants to a 2-1 victory over the Visalia Rawhide. The Giants forced extra-innings with a run in the bottom of the ninth before Haney's sacrifice fly gave San Jose the walk-off win.

Giants Blank Rawhide To Win Fourth Straight

Taylor Rogers allowed three hits over seven scoreless innings and the San Jose Giants used a six-run bottom of the fifth to cruise past the Visalia Rawhide, 8-0. Rogers and Stephen Harrold combined on San Jose's league-leading 10th shutout of the season while the Giants earned their fourth consecutive win overall.
