Thunder and Friends
The self-proclaimed California League mascot of the year, 11 seasons running, and 2010 & 2011 GameOps.com Mascot of the Year. A very special dog, he is one of only a few members of the Canis thunderus family. He is known for his ability to stand upright, walk on the tops of chairs, dance, drive quads, and act like a fool. He has a beautiful coat of green fur and wears one of the world's largest pair of shoes. As anyone can see he loves his food, just look at his belly.
Thunder has been entertaining Lake Elsinore Storm fans since opening day, 2001. You can find the lovable canine at all Storm home games in the stands and on the field sharing his antics with fans and players alike. When he's not at the Diamond you can find Thunder all around the Inland Empire spreading the Storm spirit as he makes over 300 community appearances every year. Some of Thunder's favorite appearances include birthday parties, holiday parades, grand openings and school assemblies.
One of his greatest achievements is spreading the word about CHARACTER COUNTS! to the youth of the Inland Empire. With his book "Be Nice, Play Nice! CHARACTER COUNTS! You Know" and the Storm Reading for Rewards assembly, he has been able to share the importance of the Six Pillars of Character close to 45,000 children in 15 cities and 60 elementary schools this year.
Keep a look out for the big green dog; you never know where you'll see him next. If you want to see Thunder at your next event, then contact Patrick, the Director of Mascot Operations, at 951-245-4487 or email@example.com.

Jackpot has been with the Storm since their inception in 1994 making him the longest employed mascot in Storm Franchise History. Since the beginning, Jackpot always loved dancing. Have you ever seen him move!? He's got skills, and he'll show you. Go ahead take him on, if you dare.
You can find Jackpot at Lake Elsinore Storm home games in random parts of the ballpark. He gets involved in promotions and even has his own intro during pre-game. But the best place to look for Jackpot is by the right field wall. Every game when the Storm score, Jackpot comes out from behind the wall and shows off his dance moves, once again.
The Grounds Crew Gorilla appears at all Storm home games in the bottom of the 6th inning. The Gorilla has been a member of the Storm mascot family since 2008 and has been entertaining fans with his vast array of entertaining and chaotic acts. The best part of the Grounds Crew Gorilla is that you never know what you are going to get. The Gorilla has many alter ego's including:
Lady Ga Garilla, Fat Gorilla, Motorcycle Gorilla, , Robo-Gorilla, Wrestler Gorilla, Katy Hairy, Visitor Team Beat Down Gorilla, Storm player Gorilla,Flasher Gorilla
And Many Many more...
In 2011 the Grounds Crew Gorilla was honored with a "Golden Bobble Head" for the Best In-Game Promotion in Minor League Baseball. The Gorilla received the award in Myrtle Beach, NC at the Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminars.
Come see this award winning at the Diamond during the Storm Baseball season.
Listen..... The person you are about to read about is the most intense act in Minor League Baseball history. This act is so intense that pregnant women and people with heart conditions are asked to please plug their ears and close their eyes. During this act, EMT's stand at the top of each section just in case fans pass out from the intensity. WWE wrestlers come watch this act to take notes. Just by reading this bio, you are susceptible to being hit in the face. The monumental act I speak of is Rally Time, brought to you by The Rally Cop!
The Rally Cop will appear during the bottom of the 9th inning if the Storm are down by three runs or less or tied. You ask, "Why does the Rally Cop only appear at three runs or less?" It's because experiencing the Rally Cop is like staring at the sun, if you look too long, you will go blind. The Rally Cop has a current win rate of 99%... When the Rally Cop appears, adult pampers are handed out to the visiting team just in case.
Come experience Rally Time yourself this season. Just to warn you, if you call for a Rally Cop Ball, they come fast. The Rally Cop's favorite saying is "I aim for the FACE!" Take heed!
