Jim Weber (Radio/TV Play-by-Play)

Weber has been broadcasting Mud Hens games since 1975, the longest current tenure of any announcer in the International League.

He began his distinguished radio career in 1969, announcing high school football and basketball games. He has covered Bowling Green State University football and basketball events, along with appearing regularly on radio and television talk shows throughout the International League. Weber also has had the honor of announcing two Triple-A All-Star Games (Las Vegas-1990 and Toledo-2006) which were heard on over 100 U.S. stations and on Armed Forces radio.

A native of Toledo, Weber resides in Perrysburg with his wife Kay. They have two daughters, Christine and Mary, and two grandchildren (Meredith & Ryan).

Jason Griffin (Radio/TV Play-by-Play)

Griffin started with the Mud Hens in 2000. He is the Director of Public/Media Relations for the club, and enjoys play-by-play duties on both radio and television.

Griffin has been working in radio & television since 1991, most recently serving as the play-by-play voice of the Toledo Storm hockey team (ECHL) from 1998-2000. Prior to that, Griffin worked in Chicago at the "Score" sports radio as a producer and talk show host. While at the Score, he covered the 1997 World Series (Cleveland/Florida), the 1997 NBA All-Star Game, and the 1997 MLB All-Star Game.

Griffin earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Miami (OH) University in 1995. He lives in Ottawa Hills with his wife Jennifer and two sons (Hank & Eddie).

Bill Clark (Radio Pre & Post-Game)

Bill Clark has been with the Mud Hens since 2008, serving as host of the pre-game and post-game shows for every home radio broadcast.

Clark is a 1971 graduate of St. John's Jesuit High School. Since 1993, Bill has broadcast high school games on Fox Sports Radio 1230 WCWA. Bill had the privilege of doing the play-by-play for the Michigan Wolverine's trips to the 2004 Post-Season NIT and the 04-05 Pre-Season NIT at Madison Square Garden.

Bill has also worked for the Michigan State Basketball network. This past January, he did the national radio play-by-play of the 2010 International Bowl from Toronto. Since 2008, he has been the studio host for UT Rocket football and basketball games on the Rocket Radio Network. He also does games for BCSN.

Bill and his wife Carol live in Holland and have three married children & five grandchildren.

Matt Melzak (TV Play-by-Play)

Matt Melzak joined the Toledo Mud Hens television broadcast team in 2010. Matt is also the lead broadcaster with the Toledo Walleye hockey team.

Matt was the Director of Communications and the voice of the Toledo Storm from 2003-2007. In 2006, Matt was selected as a member of the ECHL All-Star Game broadcast team.

A native of Toledo, Melzak has called hundreds of hockey games at many different levels, including a full season as the voice of Bowling Green State University Hockey. He has also worked for BCSN since its inception calling football, baseball, and hockey telecasts. Matt has also worked for ESPN 106.5 the Ticket, and 94.5 WXKR.

Matt graduated from Toledo St. Francis High School in 1994 and the University of Toledo in 1999.
