  • 1,100 tons of steel
  • 8,100 cubic yards of concrete
  • 90,000 cubic yards of dirt excavated from site
  • 94,000 square feet of grass
  • Stadium site covers eight acres
  • 150,000 square feet of ballpark building
  • Playing field is 14 feet below ground level
  • 200 workers during peak construction
  • 120-140 average number of construction workers daily
  • 13 companies involved in construction
  • 9 local companies involved in construction
  • 250 feet-height of largest crane

 

 

CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE

  • Steel skeleton completed by Memorial Day 2001
  • Ballpark Building enclosed for interior work by October 2001
  • Playing field installation to begin November 2001

 

MAJOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS

  • Right field video board installed in June 2005
  • "Coop-A-Cabana" Party Area completed in March 2006
  • Left field video board upgraded in April 2009
  • Ribbon video boards (along the club level) upgraded in April 2009
