Park Rules

Alcoholic Beverages
No Alcoholic beverages may be brought through the gates of Calfee Park. Virginia Law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Therefore, guest will be required to show proper identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages at Mariners games. Sale of beer at the ballpark concession stand is not permitted after the seventh inning (this may be cut off earlier at the discretion of the Pulaski Mariners Baseball Club). Throughout the game only two alcoholic beverages are allowed per person, per purchase. Guest who wish to be seated in sections of the ballpark where alcohol may not be purchased or consumed, should request family section tickets at the time of purchase (see "Family Section" in the guide). Additionally, guest may not take any alcoholic beverages out of the ballpark, and alcoholic consumption is prohibited in the parking lots.

Bag Search
Calfee Park regulation prohibits cans, bottles, ice chests, and alcoholic beverages from being brought into the ball park. All bags are subject to search upon entry and within the ballpark. With the exception of alcohol, prohibited items may be checked at the gates, disposed of in the trash containers, or returned to one's vehicle.

Food and Beverages
No one is permitted to enter Calfee Park with food or beverages. If a guest is found to be in possession of food or beverages within the gates of Calfee Park not purchased at a concession stand, they will be subject to ejection from the ballpark.

Family Section
The section under the canopy along the third base line is designated as the "Southwest Times Family Section". To ensure the enjoyment of our family guest, alcoholic beverages are not permitted in this section.

Foul Balls
Guests are welcome to keep any foul ball hit into the stands. At no time should a foul or home run ball be thrown back on the field. Violators will be subject to ejection. Any guest interfering with a ball in play will be subject to ejection from the ballpark. In addition, any guest going on to the playing field will be ejected from the ballpark and will be turned over to the Pulaski Police Department and will be subject to arrest and prosecution. Any guests climbing the hill areas chasing foul balls behide the press box and behind the covered canopy will be ejected from the ballpark. Guests are not permitted to leave the ballpark to chase foul balls and return. Ticket holders assume all risks and danger incidental to the game of baseball, whether occurring prior to, during ,or subsequent to the actual playing of the game , including without limitation, injury from thrown bats, thrown or batted balls, and spectator conduct. The Pulaski Mariners and the Town of Pulaski cannot be held responsible for the conduct of other guest when attempting to obtain foul or homerun balls. Ticket holders agree neither the Mariners nor the opposing team and their respective players and agents shall be liable for injuries, damages caused by such risks.

Guest Conduct
The Pulaski Mariners intend to provide our guest with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable atmosphere. Therefore, the Mariners have established the following rules for expected guest conduct.

  • Guest wearing obscene or indecent clothing are not allowed on park property.
  • Guest interfering with other guest ability to enjoy the game will be subject to ejection.
  • Guest using foul or abusive language or gestures will be ejected from the park.
  • Guest displaying extreme acts of public affection will be asked to refrain and face possible ejection.
  • Guest appearing impaired will be ejected from the park and turned over to the Pulaski Police.
  • Guests who engage in any kind of physical violence will be ejected from the Park and turned over to Pulaski Police Department and subject to arrest.
  • Guest interfering with the progress of the game or going onto the field will be ejected from the park and subjected to arrest.
  • Guest refusing to show their ticket stub when asked by Calfee Park Staff may be subject to ejection.
  • Guest attempting to sit in seat for which they are not properly ticketed will be subject to ejection.
  • Those observing other guest violating these Pulaski Mariners policies should report the incident to the nearest Calfee Park Staff. Thank you for your cooperation.
On-Field Access
As per Appalachian League rules, only authorized personnel will be permitted on the field before, during or after a game. Any unauthorized person going onto the field will be removed form the ballpark and subject to arrest.

Parking
Calfee Park traffic and parking tips: Planning ahead can help make your visit to the ballpark more enjoyable. Parking lots are located on the north and south sides of the park. If you park along the streets connected to Calfee Park, please be careful not to block the driveways or access points of residents. The Town of Pulaski or The Pulaski Mariners cannot be responsible for guest parking in illegal areas. Guests agree that neither the Mariners , the Town of Pulaski , nor the opposing them and their respective players and agents shall be liable for damages to automobiles caused by batted balls or spectator conduct. Disabled parking spaces are available to the north and south and require a handicap-parking permit.

Rain Checks
If a game is rained out and not reschedule, ticket stubs may be returned to Calfee Park Ticket Office and exchanged for tickets, with the same value, to another game during regular season( subject to availability). IF a game is rained out and rescheduled for another date the rain check will be honored for the reschedule game that replaces the original game. There are no cash refunds. In the event the game is shortened, but deemed an official (41/2 innings if the Mariners are ahead or 5 inning if the Mariners are behind), or the second game of a double header is rained out there is no rain check or refund.

Re-Entering the Ballpark
During the games, guest may be permitted to leave the ballpark and return through one of the entrance gates. Please see the gate supervisor or Mariners Staff to have both your ticket stub and hand stamped. When returning to the ballpark, guest must show their ticket stub and hand stamp and may re-enter through the gate that they exited. Guest are not permitted to leave the ballpark to chase foul balls and return at any time.

Smoking
Virginia Law prohibits smoking in Calfee Park except in designated areas. All Seating Areas and Restrooms are classified as non-smoking. Designated smoking areas are located in the following areas:

  • At the backside of the Main Concourse behind the Grandstands.
  • Behind the Press Box.
  • Along the third base line past the Concession Stand.
  • In the outfield areas.
