Biography:

Tyra is originally from Violet, LA, suburb of New Orleans. She is a graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA, where she earned a B.S. in Accounting. Prior to joining the Gwinnett Braves organization, Tyra worked in many diverse industries: accounting, legal, and construction to name a few.

When not at work, Tyra enjoys spending time with her husband Leo and their daughter Tia. She is also a sports fanatic and her favorite sport is volleyball. She was the sitter and libero in college where they won the SWAC Championship. Baking and traveling are pastime favorites as well.
