BROADCASTERS

Jon Mozes

Jon joined the Thunder in April of 2014 after he spent two seasons announcing for baseball teams in Abilene, TX and Gary, IN. In addition to his role as Public Relations Manager, Jon serves as the voice of Princeton University Volleyball and Women's Basketball on the Ivy League Network and as a radio voice for Rider University's Men's and Women's Basketball programs since the 2012-13 season.

Jon graduated from the University of New Haven (CT) in 2012 with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Communications. As a student he became the Voice of Charger Athletics performing public address at home athletics events for each of his years on campus and radio broadcasts of New Haven Football, Basketball and Baseball. Jon was raised and currently resides in Philadelphia.

Spenser Smith

Spenser enters his first year with the Thunder, and his second in affiliated Minor League Baseball. Born and raised in Walla Walla, Washington, Spenser is a 2014 graduate of Northwest Nazarene University (Nampa, ID), where he called two years of play-by-play for NNU's Division-II baseball program.

Spenser's broadcasting experiences have taken him across the map. He first called games for the Walla Walla Sweets collegiate summer baseball team in 2014, and in 2015 was the Broadcast Assistant for the single-A Lancaster JetHawks. Spenser returned to collegiate summer baseball in the Northwest in 2016 for the inaugural season of the now-famous Portland Pickles, and in 2017 was the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Florence (Kentucky) Freedom of the independent Frontier League, where he received the 2017 Robert Ford Award as the league's Broadcaster of the Year.
