Legends in the Community
This is our opportunity to team up with other Lexington businesses to work toward improving our community. This program is allows Central Kentucky businesses the opportunity to purchase Legends tickets, and donate them to charity of their choice.
Community Organization of the Night
This program is setup to offer non-profit organizations around the community a chance to host a table in the concourse of Whitaker Bank Ballpark during one of our home games. At the table you may distribute literature or promotional items for your organization, or anything that you feel would help you promote or inform the public about your group. Soliciting is prohibited.
In addition, a member from your organization will have the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch of the game and will participate in an on-field interview about your organization and an on-air radio interview, which will be broadcasted over our statewide Legends Radio Network. The Legends Radio Network is broadcasted on 23 stations across the Bluegrass and is one of the largest in Minor League Baseball.
The Legends have been participating in community events since October 1999. Our team is committed to supporting non-profit charities that have an outstanding record of service in delivering programs and services that improve the lives of children or senior citizens.
Legends Speaker's Bureau
The Lexington Legends would love to come and speak at your next function. The Legends Speakers Bureau can make speeches and presentations to civic, recreation, church and neighborhood groups at NO CHARGE. To schedule a member of the Legends Speaker's Bureau, contact Director of Community Relations & Ballpark Entertainment, Stephanie Fish at 859-422-7855.
Field of Dreams
Have you ever dreamed of taking the field with the Legends? What a thrill to be standing next to a Legends player as the entire stadium looks on. A local youth baseball team receives this honor at every home game as part of our Field of Dreams program. If you'd like your team to participate in Field of Dreams, contact the Legends Group Sales Office at 859-252-4487 to register.
As each starter for Lexington is recognized by the public address announcer and trots to his respective position, a boy or girl from a local team accompanies the player to "their" position. Each child remains with the player on the field during the National Anthem. Teams are selected at random from registrations received at Field of Dreams sponsor locations. Selected teams receive complimentary admission to the game for all team members and coaches.
