Autism Awareness Night

Autism Awareness Night

Each year, the Hillcats help give back to the Community with their Autism Awareness Night. This year's event, presented by Physicians Treatment Center, will take place on Saturday, April 18th. Last year's event earned the highest amount to date which benefited Commonwealth Autism Services!

With 1 in 110 children in the United States having some form of Autism, as many as 75,000 in Virginia are affected with the developmental disability. Commonwealth Autism Services is an organization that strives to enrich the lives of those in Virginia with autism throughout their lifespan through statewide services. Half of each ticket sold, sponsor donations and proceeds from a silent auction were donated to this organization.

The first 1,000 fans through the gates that evening received free t-shirts! An in-game check presentation occured during the game, where Commonwealth Autism Services received a donation of $12,280! To find out how to become a sponsor, download the flyer here.
