Brett Pollock's Bio
Brett returns for his fifth season partnering with Mark Nasser on the home radio broadcasts while also serving as the producer of the broadcast while the team is on the road. He had previously called games for teams in Sioux City, Iowa; El Paso, Texas; Lakewood, New Jersey and Huntsville, Alabama and was finally a part of a championship team for the first time in his 18-year minor league career in 2011! Now that he has been a part of three PCL title-winning teams and back-to-back Triple-A National Championship clubs, he is looking forward to the chase for another dual championship in 2015.
Brett was also the host of a one-hour sports talk and call-in show that aired prior to each game during his six seasons in Texas and was able to turn it into a year-round, two-hour afternoon drive-time show during his final two years in El Paso.
The native of the Philadelphia suburbs (Ft. Washington, PA) received on the job training in during the 2011 campaign as Baseball Operations Manager and enters his fifth season managing team travel and the clubhouse as well as serving as the liaison between the other PCL teams and the Storm Chasers when it comes to their travels to Omaha.
Brett is a proud graduate of Upper Dublin High School and Syracuse University and seems to be perpetually disappointed, save for 2003, when the Orange wind up short of winning the national title during the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
As an avid fan of all things Philadelphia sports, his championship Jones was satisfied by the Phillies winning the 2008 World Series but he is now going on 40 years waiting for his beloved Flyers to win another Stanley Cup and even longer for the Eagles to reach the Promised Land. Brett also enjoys listening to and seeing Bruce Springsteen perform live as often as he possibly can.
