NABF College World Series

The National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) is the oldest continually operated national baseball organization in the country. The NABF organization hosts over 50 regional tournaments and 8 national championship tournaments in 8 divisions (Rookie, Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, High School, Senior, College, and Major) throughout the year. In 2011, Toledo will host the NABF College Division World Series. The tournament games will be played at several locations, with the championship game being played on Sunday, August 7 at 1:00 pm at Fifth Third Field.

Tickets for the NABF College World Series Championship at Fifth Third Field can be reserved online (select any Home Mud Hens game and enter special offer code 'NABF') or by calling the Mud Hens Box Office at 419-725-HENS. All tickets are general admission.

There are TWO ways to get tickets:

  • Purchase tickets to ANY Mud Hens home game and add a NABF College World Series Championship ticket for just $1 more
  • Purchase NABF College World Series Championship tickets on the day of the game - Sunday, August 7 - for $4

NABF College World Series Rain Out Policy

If the NABF College World Series is RAINED OUT at Fifth Third Field and re-scheduled for another venue, ticket holders may exchange NABF College World Series ticket in to the Mud Hens box office for equal value off of a Mud Hens ticket. For example, if a fan pays $1 per ticket for a NABF ticket and the game is rained out, that ticket can be turned in to the box office for $1 off Mud Hens tickets. If a fan purchases a $4 NABF ticket and the game is rained out, the NABF ticket can be turned in to the Mud Hens box office for $4 off any Mud Hens ticket.


NABF College World Series Facts

  • Fifth Third Field will be hosting the 2011 NABF College World Series Championship game on Sunday, August 7 at 1:00 pm.
  • The NABF College World Series will feature Division I, Division II, and Junior College baseball players from across the country.
  • Teams from 7 different states qualified for the NABF College World Series: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New York, Maryland, and Missouri.
  • The tournament games will all be played in Toledo, OH at several locations (Ned Skeldon Stadium, Owens Community College, City of Toledo's Rich Arbinger Field at Bowman Park, St. Francis de Sales High School, and the Championship at Fifth Third Field).
  • The tournament will begin with Pool Play on Thursday, August 4th. Teams that advance from Pool Play will play in a single-elimination tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
  • For any tournament questions, please contact the City of Toledo Athletic Office at 419-936-2877.
  • Tickets for the game at Fifth Third Field will be general admission.
