Tickets for Pirates Spring Training games can be purchased three ways:
1.    In person at the McKechnie Field Ticket Office located on the corner of 9th Street West and 17th Avenue West. Gameday hours are from 9:00a.m. until 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Non-gameday hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; Sunday 10a.m.-1p.m..
2. Go online to or (convenience charges apply).
3. Call at 1-877-893-2827, seven days a week 9 a.m.-9 p.m. (convenience charges apply).

A valid government issued photo ID with a listed birth date is required for the purchase of alcoholic beverages, regardless of age, inside of McKechnie Field. "We card 21 to 101. No ID, No Beer."

McKechnie Field welcomes seeing-eye dogs and other animals that assist disabled or visually impaired guests. However, we are unable to accommodate any other animals.

Guests may request special-occasion announcements such as birthdays, anniversaries and graduations at Spring Training games by calling (941) 747-3031 prior to the game day. All requests are subject to team approval. Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the game at which the announcement is to be made.

Anyone interested in singing the national anthem prior to a Pirates home spring training game should call Pirate City at (941) 747-3031.

ATM machines will be available at multiple locations inside McKechnie Field for fan convenience.

Pirates players sign autographs before and after each game when time and Major League regulations permit. However, we cannot guarantee that autograph opportunities will be available.

McKechnie Field and the Pirates reserve the right to perform bag searches. All bags are subject to search before entering the ballpark. No bag or container larger than 16" x 16" x 8" will be permitted inside. This is not meant to inconvenience anyone, but to further enhance the safety of our guests.

McKechnie Field and the Pirates welcome signs and banners. However, to ensure they do not distract from the enjoyment of other guests, the Pirates ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
Banners/signs should in no way infringe upon the sight lines of other guests. Banners/signs must be 4' x 8' or smaller and may not be placed anywhere inside the playing field or be commercial, political or obscene as determined by the Pirates, who reserve the sole right to remove any banner/sign.

There are four men's and four women's bathrooms located at McKechnie Field. Two sets of restrooms are located on the first base side across from the concessions stands, one set of restrooms is located on the third base side of the field, and one set is located in the outfield building.

Fans are permitted to carry bats and baseballs into McKechnie Field to attempt to obtain player autographs. However, the bats and baseballs may not be carried into the ballpark in a bag that exceeds 16" x 16" x 8" in size.

The Boardwalk Barbeque Area is an all-you-can-eat picnic location for groups of 25+ on the right-field end of the boardwalk. It allows groups to enjoy their pregame meal while still having a great view of the field. Advanced booking is required.

One (1) sealed bottle of water 1 liter or smaller will be permitted. No other outside food or beverage will be permitted into McKechnie Field.

Since 1979, members of the Bradenton Boosters have volunteered as the Pirates spring training game-day staff, serving as ushers, program sellers, parking lot attendants, security personnel, merchandise sellers, and press box attendants. The organization also sponsors a number of events for its membership each year, including a breakfast in January and a luncheon in February -- plus a trip to Pittsburgh each summer. Anyone interested in becoming a Bradenton Booster can ask a member for an application at McKechnie Field on any game day.

The Bradenton Marauders are the High Class-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates and a member of the 12-team Florida State League. The Marauders will play 70 home games at McKechnie Field, starting on April 5 and lasting into September. For all your Bradenton Marauders information, log onto or call (941) 747-3031. Guests are welcome to bring cameras and video recorders into the ballpark for their personal use (MLB rules prohibit shooting game footage). Fans are asked to avoid standing in the aisles while using this equipment. Please do not obstruct the view of others while taking pictures and refrain from using tripods and monopods. The Pirates reserve the right to remove any guests that do not cooperate with this policy.

Children two years old or younger can receive complimentary admission at McKechnie Field, however the child must sit in a parent or guardian's lap. Promotional giveaway items are for ticketed guests only. Children's tickets are priced the same as adult tickets.

McKechnie Field is dedicated to offering fans a generous assortment of concession items throughout the ball park. Our concession stands, portable carts and roaming vendors offer a complete line of ballpark favorites and other feature items including:
Dozens of craft, import and domestic beers, burgers, Perdue Chicken, cotton candy, Cracker Jacks, fries, Gatorade, Hampton Farms peanuts, Kayem hotdogs & sausage, nachos, Pepsi products, Papa John's Pizza, Gold Medal Popcorn, Siberian Chill, J&J Pretzels, Tropicana Lemonade and more!


The Boardwalk -Be sure you take a stroll along the new outfield boardwalk, which features many selections & vendors; everything from cheesesteaks to Italian sausages, Italian ice, pretzels and a beer garden.

The Kona Bar built by NDC Construction in centerfield is the place to go for a mixed drink from our full liquor bar or ice cold beverage from Gold Coast Eagle Distributing!

The McKechnie Snack Station is in the outfield concessions building, featuring craft and import beers, buckets of beer, hotdogs, barbeque pulled pork, create-your-own-nachos, soda and bottled water.

The Fan Plaza on the first base side of McKechnie Field has received a complete makeover, with brand new concessions options for whatever taste you're looking for.

Home Run Hot Dog has the finest Kayem hotdogs and plenty of condiments to dress a dog to your preference. Home Run Hotdogs also offers nachos, pretzels, popcorn, draft beer and Pepsi Products.
Pirates Cove Grill is the place to pick up a large, juicy burger, golden fries, a grilled chicken sandwich, draft beer, or assorted Pepsi products.
Pizza & Beverage Express features Papa John's pizza and cold draft beer.

The Yuengling Plaza Bar provides a new wealth of beverage options to McKechnie Field guests, including Yuengling beers, select cocktails, and yards of beer.

The Fan Plaza also features more than a dozen portable concessions carts with cheesesteaks, Italian sausage, Cold Stone Creamery ice cream, and bottled and draft beers. One of these carts, the Bucco Grill, features barbeque items tiki style!

The Food Court in the area behind home plate has a huge variety of selections for food and drinks. Steel City Spirits has select cocktails and a complete wine bar of every wine offered at McKechnie Field. The Pitt Stop is home to the largest selection of beer in the ballpark, including craft, domestic and imports. Penn Station features Papa John's pizza and create-your-own-nachos. The Cookout Kitchen provides foot-long hotdogs, in addition to barbeque pulled pork and grilled chicken sandwiches. For dessert seekers, the Sweet Spot offers Siberian Chill, hand-dipped ice cream & Italian ice. Fans can always scoop up something to munch on at the Home Plate Express, Including popcorn, pretzels peanuts and Cracker Jacks. Every Food Court location includes draft beer and Pepsi products.

The Promenade is located next to 9th Street along the 3rd base side and has portables featuring everything from hot dogs & burgers to cheesesteaks and draft beer.

The Bullpen Bistro covers all the bases on the left side of the stadium, providing hotdogs, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jacks and ice cold Pepsi Products.

McKechnie Field accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa at the Ticket Office, McKechnie Field Clubhouse Store, and at all fixed concession locations, including all Fan Plaza concession buildings, the Food Court and Bullpen Bistro, both bars, and the outfield concessions building. All other concession locations are cash only.

Located 1/2 mile West of Highway 41 on 9th Street West at 17th Avenue West.
From North (St. Petersburg): Go over the Skyway Bridge to Exit 2 (19 South). Continue on 41 South (Bradenton/Sarasota). Make a right turn onto 17th Avenue West and continue to McKechnie Field.
From South (Sarasota): Take Route 41 North to Cortez Road, go straight onto Business 41 and turn right onto 17th Ave. West. The ballpark is located at intersection of 17th Avenue West and 9th Street West.
From Interstate 75: Exit I-75 at S.R. 64 West (exit 220 if traveling south, exit 220 B if traveling north). Go west on Route 64 to 9th Street West and turn left to the ballpark.

From Interstate 75: Exit I-75 at S.R. 64 West (exit 220 if traveling south, exit 220 B if traveling north). Proceed west toward Bradenton and make a left onto 27th Street East. Pirate City is approximately one mile on the left.
From McKechnie Field: Head west on 17th Ave. West and make a right onto U.S. 41. At the first stop light, make a left onto 26th Ave. East. Follow to 27th St. East and make a left. Pass Mixon Fruit Farms and Pirate City is on the right.
From South (Sarasota): Travel North on US 301. Cross S.R. 70 and make a right onto 38th Ave. East. Make the first left onto 27th St. E. and Pirate City is a mile up the road.
From North (St. Petersburg): Travel south on I-275 over the Skyway Bridge to Exit 2 (US 19 South) and continue on US 41. Cross the Manatee River and follow signs for SR 64 East. Take 64 East and make a right onto 27th St. East. Pirate City is a mile on the left.

The Pirates are committed to providing every guest with a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the ballpark, including guests with disabilities. To better accommodate guests with disabilities, the Pirates offer the following at McKechnie Field:
*Wheelchair and disabled accessible seating can be purchased at the ticket windows as well as by calling the McKechnie Field Ticket Office at (941) 747-3031.

Charities and other non-profit groups requesting donations or auction items from the Pirates should submit a written request on their organizational letterhead to: Pittsburgh Pirates, Community Relations Department, 1701 27th Street East, Bradenton, FL, 34208. Please allow at least four (4) weeks for requests to be processed.

In the event of an emergency at McKechnie Field, please follow the directions of Pirates employees, ushers, and law enforcement personnel and listen to the instructions given over the public address system.

In the interest of player and guest safety, McKechnie Field maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding fan interference with a ball in play or a player during the game. Failure to comply with the policy will result in removal from the ballpark.

Should you have a medical emergency or need medical assistance, please alert the nearest McKechnie Field employee. The Manatee Memorial Hospital First Aid Station is located on the outer concourse of the ballpark on the first base side, directly across from the batting cages.

Guests are welcome to keep foul balls hit into the stands. However, at no time should a foul ball or home run be thrown back on to the field. Violators will be ejected from the ballpark. Any guest interfering with a ball in play will also be subject to ejection. Unfortunately, the Pirates are unable to accommodate requests for player autographs of foul balls or home runs.

Gates open 2 hours prior to game time for regular ticket holders and 2.5 hours prior to game time for Pirates Spring Training Season Ticket Holders. The Black & Gold Game on Friday, February 22 begins at 12:00pm, with gates opening at 11:00a.m.for regular ticket holders and Pirates Spring Training Season Ticket Holders being admitted at 10:30am.

Major League Baseball, the Pirates and the City of Bradenton are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark where:

Guests can enjoy the baseball experience free from foul/abusive language and obscene gestures.
Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, large bags, cans, coolers, alcoholic beverages and containers are not permitted. Bags and containers that do not exceed 16" x 16" x 8" will be permitted.
The progress of the game will not be disrupted by the actions of guests, including unauthorized persons entering the playing field.
Smoking will be permitted in designated areas only. Please see a ballpark employee if you need assistance in locating these areas.
Guests will show their tickets when requested to do so and sit only in their ticketed seat.

The Pirates ask that all guests extend proper courtesy to others at the ballpark. Do not stand in and around the seating areas or aisle ways. In order to provide everyone with the best experience, restrict your movement during play and only move through the seating bowl when there is a break in play.

A two-tiered covered platform offers a luxury party area with extensive food and beverage options for groups of up to 80 people, 40 people per tier. One tier of the Left Field Party Deck can be reserved for $800, and the entire deck Is available for $1,600. A $200 minimum catering purchase Is required to reserve the Left Field Party Deck. The Left Field Patio has ten 4Topps tables available as four dual-season tickets to Spring Training and the Bradenton Marauders season. The cost is $2,196 per table. To purchase 4Topps table seating call 941-747-3031.

Found articles should be turned in to the Guest Information Booth, located on the main concourse. The Guest Information Booth staff will record pertinent information and lost articles will be cataloged and maintained until the end of Spring Training in the McKechnie Field Ticket Office. Guests should report any missing person to a Pirates representative or Bradenton police officer. Game day staff will work closely with McKechnie Field security personnel to locate the missing individual.

The Pirates Clubhouse Store is the premier outlet for Pirates merchandise in Bradenton. Hundreds of different items are available at the Pirates Clubhouse Store, located next to the McKechnie Field Ticket Office. On-field access is limited to authorized personnel with the proper credentials prior to, during and after games. Any guest attempting to go onto the field without the proper credentials will be escorted out of the ballpark and prosecuted accordingly.

On-field ceremonies occur prior to each home game and salute members of the local community for their efforts to keep Pirate baseball in Bradenton the best spring training experience in Florida. Ceremonies include throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, singing the national anthem, band performances, and other promotional performances. Major League Baseball, the Pirates and the City of Bradenton are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark. Fans may not bring coolers, backpacks and large bags into the ballpark. Purses, small bags and infant diaper bags are permitted, but should not exceed 16" x 16" x 8". All items are subject to search by game day security.

Limited parking is available behind McKechnie Field on the fields of the Boys and Girls Club and near the ballpark at local businesses. Guests must enter the Boys and Girls Club parking lot through the 9th Street West entrance; all parking proceeds at this lot benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County.

Fans are eligible to receive promotional items based on age guidelines and quantity restrictions. Promotional items are limited to one per ticketed person. Non-ticketed children two and under will not receive a promotional giveaway item.

In the event a regulation game is not played on its scheduled date, tickets may be exchanged for a subsequent Pirates or Marauders game at McKechnie Field during the 2013 season (based on availability). A refund may also be requested. Refund requests take approximately 8-10 weeks to process.

For the comfort and security of all guests, we do not allow fans to enter McKechnie Field with hazardous or disruptive items. Items that are not permitted inside the ballpark include: bags and containers over 16" x 16" x 8", boom boxes, inflatable balls, balloons, frisbees, laser pointers, fireworks, footballs and weapons of any kind. The Pirates reserve the right to inspect packages or problematic containers.

In consideration of the health and comfort of others, smoking is not permitted in the seating areas, the Fan Plaza, or main concourse. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas on the outfield boardwalk.

Pirate City is the Pittsburgh Pirates spring and minor league training facility, located at 1701 27th Street East in Bradenton, FL. All Pirates major league spring training home games are played at McKechnie Field. McKechnie Field welcomes guests that utilize their own strollers. However, the use of strollers should not in any way inhibit general guest movement or block any aisle ways. Strollers are not available to rent.

EXCHANGES -- There are no exchanges once a game ticket has been purchased.
LOST/STOLEN GAME TICKETS -- Please remember that game tickets are like money and should be secured like cash and cannot be replaced. If game tickets are lost or stolen, please call the Pirates Ticket Office at (941) 747-3031.
REFUNDS -- There are no refunds once a game ticket has been purchased.
RAIN OUTS -- In the event a regulation game is not played on its scheduled date, tickets may be exchanged for a subsequent Pirates or Marauders game at McKechnie Field during the 2013 season (based on availability). A refund may also be requested. Refund requests take approximately 8-10 weeks to process.

Tickets are available at the Advanced sale price until 11:59p.m. on the night prior to the game the ticket is valid for.

The Ticket Office is located just outside the main gate, next to the Pirates Clubhouse Store.

Tours of Pirate City are given upon request and by appointment only. Fans may call (941) 747-3031 and ask about our tour program. Tours must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance.

For the safety and viewing enjoyment of all fans, umbrellas are permitted in the ballpark, but may not be open during play.

McKechnie Field is equipped with water fountains. They are located on the third base side of the concourse between the restrooms and on the first base side on each end of the Fan Plaza concessions stands.

The Will Call window at McKechnie Field is located on the north side of the ticket office, near the main gate. Photo identification is required to pick up tickets at the Will Call window.
