Austin Allen joined the TinCaps full-time after spending the 2011 season as an intern in the Parkview Field ticket office. He spent the previous three seasons working part-time in the ticket office with the Lansing Lugnuts. Austin comes to Fort Wayne from Owosso, Michigan and is a graduate of Central Michigan University. While at Central Michigan University, Austin interned with the Athletic Marketing Department. Austin enjoys working in sports because it is a great environment and people are always excited to go to a sporting event.

In his free time, Austin likes to stay active by playing all types of sports including basketball, tennis, and hockey. He also enjoys listening to music and watching movies. Something interesting that most people don't know about Austin is that he enjoys teaching himself how to play instruments and is currently learning the ukulele.
