Chuck Brockett bio

Chuck Brockett
General Manager
13th season

Chuck's tenure has been marked by countless ballpark improvements, including the Extreme Makeover of Community Field prior to the 2005 season. Other capital improvements Chuck has overseen include a new playing surface, the indoor batting facility, new box seats, a new scoreboard, new dugouts, and yards upon yards of fresh concrete. His peers voted Chuck the 2001 Midwest League Executive of the Year, and he continues to serve as the league's liaison to the Minor League Baseball Licensing Department.

Baseball has always been important to Chuck. As a player, he earned All-State honors at Burlington High School and was twice named All-Conference at Monmouth College. After his playing days, Chuck remained active in the game by serving as the President of the local Babe Ruth Association and was part of the group that brought the 16 year-old Babe Ruth World Series to Burlington in 1999. Chuck and his wife Sue have two children, Josh and Kim.
