Mike Butera, Finance & Human Resources Coordinator

Mike begins his second season with the Giants as Finance & Human Resources Coordinator and his third season with the team. Previously, Mike worked on the customer service staff with the club. Prior to joining the Giants, Mike was an intern with the Santa Barbara Foresters baseball team/Hugs for Cubs charity gaining experience in game day operations, marketing, and the production of community and charity events. Additionally, he was a Research Assistant to the President/CEO at Linea Consulting in Santa Barbara and interned for the UC Santa Barbara Athletics Department. Mike graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Sociology and a minor in Sports Management.

As Finance & Human Resources Coordinator, Mike's duties include handling the accounts receivable, assisting with payroll, and overseeing the game day staff for the San Jose Giants. Mike is proud the organization received its first-ever California League Excellence in Marketing and Promotions Award in 2012 and looks forward to another winning season in 2013.
