Richard Coats Group Sales Executive

Richard Coats

Richard Coats joined the Jackson Generals last season focusing on Group Outings and Sponsorship activities. He previously worked with The Montgomery Biscuits and the Augusta Greenjacksts. Prior to his baseball career, Richard was a consultant and motivational speaker, primarily in the telecommunications industry.

Richard has 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and is considered an expert in the field of Beatlesology.


Marcus Sabata Group Sales Executive

Marcus Sabata

As a lifelong baseball fan, Marcus is pleased to join The Jackson Generals ahead of the 2018 season. Marcus grew up in Southwest Kansas where he graduated from Garden City High School. After high school, he majored in Political Science at Garden City Community College. Marcus has been around the game for 41 years and in that time, he has served as a coach on numerous levels of baseball, including Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, American Legion and high school as an assistant coach at Garden City High School. Prior to joining The Generals, Marcus served as the General Manager for The Garden City Wind of The Pecos League of Independent Baseball. Marcus is married to his beautiful wife Tammie and they have five children: Preston, Ryan, Brytnee, Justin and Jarret. Marcus is happy to call Jackson home and he looks forward to many exciting nights at The Ballpark at Jackson. Go Generals!!!!


Mark Cunningham Group Sales Executive

Mark Cunningham

Mark Cunningham will be making his Generals debut as a Premium Sales Consultant in 2018, after celery-brating four seasons in Delaware with the Wilmington Blue Rocks -- the Advanced-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The Leesburg, VA native studied Sport Management at OHIO and Neumann University, where he hosted a campus-renowned sports talk radio show and had a successful career on the intramural ping pong circuit.

Away from the ballyard, he enjoys following the PGA TOUR. "I Don't Want This Night to End" is not only how Cunningham feels after each and every Generals home game, but is also the name of the Luke Bryan song he would choose as his walk-up music. Cunningham currently resides in Jackson -- Tennessee marks his 7th state.
