Gameday Staff Positions

Parking Attendant

Attendants at Coolray Field are responsible for getting patrons into the correct traffic pattern while entering and exiting Coolray Field parking foot print, taking money and giving correct change, and exuding a high level of customer service to Guests of Coolray Field.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age and able to stand for a minimum of 4 hours, ability to count money quickly and accurately, work in inclement weather. Staff members must be able to project an approachable, professional attitude at all times. Previous customer service and cashier experience is a plus. Qualified applicants will be able to successfully pass a background check.


Amusement Attendant

Attendants will be responsible for maintaining a fun yet responsible atmosphere in the Amusement area. Previous experience working with children and the ability to count money and make correct change in a fast paced atmosphere is a plus. All qualified applicants will be able to pass a background check.


Maintenance Crew

Maintain a clean and presentable facility at all times. Assist in pregame and post game cleaning duties. Primary function during events is monitoring all areas of the ball park primarily restrooms and trash cans for overflows and spills. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs above your waist and stand for long periods of time.


Event Security Staff

Event Security Staff are responsible for enforcing all rules, regulations, policies and ordinances of Coolray Field, Gwinnett County, and the State of Georgia. These positions include roving, merchandise, and gate guards.

Qualifications: Five years consecutive security background (Military Police, Turner Security, reputable security agencies, etc.) Successful background check required. Must have excellent writing skills (will be asked to write a paragraph explaining why you want and are qualified for this position), must be able to stand for long periods of time, work game delays and extra innings if needed, must possess safety awareness, excellent customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.


Guest Relations Representative

Guest Relations Representatives must have strong interpersonal skills and provide excellent customer service. Must be attentive to guest's needs, have full knowledge of all policies, services, and facility locations.

Qualifications: Must be able to stand for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours at a time, including working elevators, scanning tickets, work in inclement weather, staff members will work a variety of positions during the season. Staff members must be able to project an approachable, professional attitude at all times. Previous customer service experiences a plus.


Usher

An Usher acts as the host to all guests during their visit to Coolray Field. Each usher will be assigned a specific seating section (aisle) in Coolray Field and is responsible for making sure guests are seated in their correct location. It is important that each Usher try to anticipate guests' problems and never avoid or ignore problems.

Qualifications: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, patrol up and down stair aisles on a regular basis and have excellent communication skills, must be able to work in inclement weather and work game delays and extra innings if needed.


Ground Crew

Assist in maintaining an excellent playing surface for the players. Assist in the overall appearance and maintenance of the field. Assist with all set up and tear down of grounds game day activity.

Qualifications: High School degree or GED. At least one year of grounds experience preferably in a baseball park or related field such as landscaping or field maintenance.


Ticket Sellers

Understand and know all ticket types, ticket specials, and coupons. Pre-count tickets and banks; you are also responsible for selling tickets to fans. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service, ability to function under high stress levels and potentially confrontational situations. Responsible for balancing books and counting stubs at the end of each night. Qualified candidates will also posses strong computer skills and a college degree is preferred but not required.
