Community Basket Day
Each year, area non-profit organizations sell raffle tickets to win Iowa's Largest Community Basket. One person wins the entire "basket" of items, including $10,000 cash! The basket is valued at nearly $20,000! Raffle tickets are currently available and cost just $2 per ticket. For every ticket purchase, the non-profit organization who sells the ticket keeps $1. By purchasing raffle tickets, not only are you giving yourself a chance to win but you're supporting area charities!
The drawing for the Community Basket will be held at Community Field on Sunday, May 19th when the Bees take on Wisconsin at 2:00pm. You do not have to be present to win the basket but if you are, you'll win an extra $1,000 cash from the Friends of Community Field!
If your group would like to participate in this fundraiser, please contact Kim at kim@gobees.com or (319)754-5705. Participating groups must show proof that they have a 501(c)(3) status.
