Job Openings

Thanks for your interest in working with the Peoria Chiefs. The Chiefs are currently seeking interns for the 2018 season. An internship with the Chiefs will provide you a hands-on experience in Minor League Baseball and the knowledge needed to gain full-time employment in the sports industry.

The Chiefs season begins in early April but the internships start in March as we put the final touches on planning for the 2018 season. Internships are geared to educate about the business of Minor League baseball, working in sports and working as a team. Interns have the opportunity to network in a front office that includes over 100 years of professional sports experience. The internship schedule is very challenging, but also rewarding as a great step to a career in professional/collegiate sports and a fantastic way to build relationships in sports. Candidates should be self-motivated, hard-working, willing to get their hands dirty and committed to being part of a team and organization striving to be the best in the Midwest League.

The Chiefs are currently offering 2018 internships in:

Broadcasting & Media Relations

Audio Production & Media Relations

Social Media

Former Chiefs interns have gone on to successful positions internally, as well as with: St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, Miami Heat, Chicago Blackhawks, Memphis Redbirds, Iowa Cubs, Tulsa Drillers, Kane County Cougars, Bradley University, University of Illinois, Peoria Convention & Visitors Bureau, Peoria Rivermen, Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL), CSN Chicago and many more.
