FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

 

Following are questions that are often asked of us, along with the answers to them. We hope this will make your next visit to First Data Field for a St. Lucie Mets game more enjoyable.

 

 

When is the best time to get autographs?

Players are not always available to sign autographs. The best time to try and get your favorite players autograph is immediately when the gates open, or immediately following the game as the players are leaving the field. Players WILL NOT be allowed to sign autographs just prior to or during the game. There is absolutely no hanging over or on the side of the dugout trying to reach in permitted. Get here early for your best shot. Fans may be asked to move to a different location near the filed if they are waiting for players in a seating area that is being occupied by fans with a ticket for those seats. Please be respectful of other fans while waiting to get autographs.

 

 

Is First Data Field handicap accessible?

Of course! There are plenty of handicap marked parking spaces in the middle of the complex. We have an elevator located just outside Gate A on the third base side of the stadium that will take you to the seating levels. There is also a ramp located on the first and third base sides of the stadium that will take you to the main concourse level. For handicap seating, please call the St. Lucie Mets ticket office at (772) 871-2115.

 

What happens if the game is rained out rained out?

It does tend to rain here in South Florida during the summer months. What happens if you're excited all day long for tonight's game, you already have tickets for the game, and it rains? Keep your ticket stubs and you can trade them in for another St. Lucie Mets home game.

 

 

Can I bring a chair to the game?

Bringing in a chair from outside is NOT permitted. Fans can bring in blankets to use on the berm.

 

Is there a parking fee at First Data Field?

There is no parking fee at First Data Field during the Minor League season.

 

 

What level of baseball does the St. Lucie Mets play at?

The St. Lucie Mets play in the High-A Advanced Florida State League. Here is a list of the New York Mets Minor League system: 7. Major Leagues: New York Mets 6. Triple-A: Las Vegas 51's 5. Which teams make up the Florida State League?

The St. Lucie Mets are one of 12 teams in the Florida State League. Six teams make up the South Division (Miracle, Port Charlotte, Bradenton, St. Lucie, Jupiter and Palm Beach) while six teams make up the North Division (Tampa, Dunedin, Clearwater, Lakeland, Daytona and Florida.)

 

 

What time do St. Lucie Mets games start?

Typically, St. Lucie games Monday-Saturday start at 6:30 PM with Sunday games starting at 1:00 PM. Doubleheaders kick off at 4:00 PM Monday-Saturday and 11:00 AM on Sundays. Due to occasional scheduling rules/conflicts, game times may be altered throughout the course of the season, so please do check ahead and remember to carefully read your ticket for all game information, as well as the back of your ticket which will provide you with all of the rules and regulations of attending a game at Tradition Field.

 

 

When do the gates open for a St. Lucie Mets game?

Gates for a St. Lucie Mets game usually open up one hour prior to the first pitch. (5:30 PM for a 6:30 PM start and 12 PM for a 1:00 PM start). Occasionally on big nights, we may choose to open the gates a little earlier.

 

 

How can I purchase St. Lucie Mets tickets?

St. Lucie Mets tickets can be purchased several different ways. You can stop by the stadium ticket office Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM- 4:00 PM and Saturday game days from Noon-4:00 to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets to future games are now also available at the ticket window before every St. Lucie Mets home game. The ticket office is open until the end of the fourth inning of each home game. You can call the St. Lucie Mets ticket office and purchase tickets over the phone using Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express. Please call 772-871-2115 Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Saturday game days from Noon - 4:00 PM. If you would like your tickets mailed to you instead of being held at Will Call, please note that there will be and additional $3.00 fee added to your order to cover postage and handling. Tickets are also available for purchase via this website.

 

 

How can I purchase New York Mets spring training tickets?

Individual game tickets for Mets spring training usually go on sale early to mid-January. Those tickets can be purchased by calling 772-871-2115, logging onto newyorkmets.com, or by visiting the stadium ticket office.

 

 

How can I get a St. Lucie Mets pocket schedule?

Pocket Schedules are available at First Data Field and all throughout Port St. Lucie on the front counters and registers of businesses who partner with the St. Lucie Mets, to help you find out when the next home games will be played, as well as what great promotions and ticket/food and drink specials are coming up. What's the easiest way to get to First Data Field?

The easiest way to get to the stadium, whether you are coming from the North or the South, is to take I95 to exit 121 St. Lucie West Blvd and head east. Take the first left after the bridge onto Peacock Blvd and continue to University Dr. (3rd Light) and make a right. Take your first left into the stadium.

 

 

Is there a souvenir shop?

Yes! The Mets Fan Gear Gift Shop is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. During the offseason, please call the St. Lucie Mets ticket office ahead of time at 772-871-2115 to come shop. The gift shop is always open during New York Mets spring training games and St. Lucie Mets games throughout the season.
