Current Construction Projects
Spokane County's Avista Stadium was built in 1958 and has served our community well for more than 50 years. To insure the stadium continues to serve Spokane for decades to come, Spokane County and the Spokane Indians have partnered on many stadium improvement projects that have made Avista Stadium one of the best minor league baseball stadiums in the country.
The next phase of improvements will make safety improvements, replace the main concession building which has reached the end of its useful life, upgrade the administration building, improve the concourse and provide other necessary improvements throughout the stadium. This round of improvements is currently underway and will be completed prior to the start of the 2013 Indians season.
