Shawn Williams - Manager

Born: 9/18/83 Salt Lake City, UT   Resides: Palm Harbor, FL

Former infielder. 2014 marks his first season as a professional manager. Served as a coach for Williamsport in 2013. Spent four seasons (2007-10) playing in Tampa Bay's minor league system. Also played in the American Association (2006), Can Am League (2010-11) and the Atlantic League (2010 & 2012). Is the son of former major league manager and Phillies bench coach Jimy Williams.

 

 

 

 

Aaron Fultz - Pitching Coach

Born: 9/4/73 Memphis, TN   Resides: Fayette, AL

Former pitcher. Returns to Williamsport for the 2014 season after beginning his coaching career in 2012 with the Cutters. Served at the pitching coach for Lakewood (A) in 2013. Pitched in the major leagues for the San Francisco Giants (2000-02), Texas Rangers (2003), Minnesota Twins (2004), Phillies (2005-06) and Cleveland Indians (2007). Was a member of the 2002 National League Champion SF Giants and pitched in eight total playoff games between the Giants and Indians. Went 7-1, 3.38 ERA in 128 games over his two seasons in Philadelphia. Appeared in 6 combined minor league games in 2008 between Tulsa (AA) and Toledo (AAA).

 

Eddie Dennis - Hitting Coach

Born: 8/14/59 La Romana, La Romana, DR Resides: Clearwater, FL

Former infielder. Begins his first season in the Phillies organization after spending the 2013 season out of baseball. Played eight seasons of minor league baseball in the Blue Jays organization (1978-1985). Managed two seasons in the Blue Jays organization (1987-88) including guiding the New York-Penn League's St. Catherine's Blue Jays to a 27-46 record in 1988. Spent nine years managing the Independent League Rio Grande Valley (Texas) WhiteWings in 1998-2000, 2006-07, & 2009-12. 

 

 

Michael Hefta - Athletic Trainer

Born: 1/26/88 Garland, TX   Resides: Little Rock, AR

The 2014 season marks his first in professional baseball. Attained his BS degree in Athletic Training from Henderson State University.
