Throughout the course of 2012, 60 players contributed to the success the Aces achieved. Reno's 81 victories set a new franchise record, and the club finished with the second-most wins in D-backs Triple-A history. The club continued its winning ways by clinching the Pacific Coast League Championship and the Triple-A National Championship.
As is the nature of Minor League Baseball, the Aces roster experienced 115 transactions throughout the 2012 campaign. Of the 25 players on Reno's active Opening Day roster, only eight were on the Aces postseason roster.
Twenty players (11 pitchers and nine batters) made their Triple-A debut with Reno this year, while nine players (four pitchers and five batters) went on to make their Major League debut.
For the second-straight season, the Aces sent four players to the Triple-A All-Star Game. Reno's roster was graced with two of MLB.com's Top 10 prospects, along with the Pacific Coast League MVP and Rookie of the Year.
Twenty-one Aces pitchers were credited with a win throughout the regular season, and 21 batters hit at least one regular season home run in an Aces uniform. Three Reno pitchers and batters played in just one game each for the Aces in the regular season.
