Our American Pastime...
The great Western New York summer tradition. On Friday, Juy 3, 2015, join us for the 21st Annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus and the Largest Fireworks Show of the Season as the Bisons host the Syracuse Chiefs (6:05 p.m.).
Since the event began in 1995, nearly 400,000 fans have joined their fellow citizens at Coca-Cola Field to celebrate our nation's birthday and pay tribute to everything that makes the USA the greatest country in the world!
The KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration features the best that America has to offer. Our national pastime played out between two great rivals. Then after the game, sit back and enjoy a great post game concert from Conductor Paul Ferington and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus. Of course, no KeyBank Independence Eve concert would be complete without several numbers to honor our brave servicemen and servicewomen.

And this year, after what is sure to be one more amazing performances leading the BPO and Chorus at the Bisons' KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration, the maestro is hanging up his 'BPO' jersey and conductor's wand.
READ why Ferington chose the Bisons July 3rd show as his final concert in his 30-year career with the BPO.

'Stars & Stripes Caps
The Herd will once again be sporting specialty 'Stars and Stripes' caps from the New Era Cap Company on July 3rd to help raise money and awareness for the Welcome Back Veterans program. These caps will feature an American flag along with the Bisons' logo in red, white, and blue.
Proceeds from Stars and Stripes cap purchases will go to Welcome Back Veterans, a program that helps returning soldiers with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, providing treatment to them and their families.
