About the Lowell Jr. Spinners

The Lowell Spinners are committed to the growth and furthering the game of baseball. As such, the organization has partnered with former professional pitcher Marc Deschenes to turn his New England Diamond Dawgs AAU Baseball Program into the Lowell Jr. Spinners. The teams will be an elite travel and tournament baseball club, playing a complete AAU season schedule as well as participate in tournaments throughout New England and the Northeast. Founded in 2002 by Deschenes, a UMass Lowell graduate who played over 10 seasons of professional baseball, including two seasons with the Pawtucket Red Sox and Major League Spring Training with the Los Angeles Dodgers after being selected as a Rule 5 pick. The teams will play many of their home games at LeLacheur Park, including several tournaments, while playing all their games under the Lowell Jr. Spinners name.
