Ticket office employees are primarily responsible for the processing of single ticket sales and distribution of Will Call tickets to patrons of Greer Stadium.
Often the first team representative to greet fans, ticket office employees must possess superior customer service skills in order to provide a positive first impression to fans. Ticket office employees are trained in the use of the Streamline Ticketing computerized ticketing system.
Applicants must have strong communication skills in order to provide accurate information to guests in regards to ballpark events and ticketing policies. Applicants must also have quality cash handling skills as they will be processing both cash and credit transactions each game day.
Highly personable and energetic, Ushers are the face of the organization with whom our guests will have the most interaction.
Ushers are attentive and assist our fans with any need that they may have at Greer Stadium, including but not limited to: seat locations, concession items and locations, restrooms, and miscellaneous questions about the facility. Ushers must also be aware at all times of fan's safety during games.
Each applicant must provide an upbeat and friendly personality at all times, be able to provide a high level of customer service, and be able to stand for long periods of time and work outside in any type of element.
Parking Attendants are typically the first line of our customer service team that fans will encounter upon arriving at Greer Stadium.
Attendants will collect money from fans as they enter our paid parking lot, assist with directing and parking cars in the lot, provide correct information to fans on where to park, and assist with other activities that may arise during the course of the game. At the end of their shift, attendants must balance out and have the correct amount of money collected.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, have an upbeat and friendly personality, be able to work outside in any type of element, possess the ability to count and handle money, and must be able to stand for long periods of time. Prior cash handling experience is preferred.
The Nashville Sounds are currently seeking to hire bat boys for the upcoming season. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and available to work evenings.
Bat boys are responsible for helping to maintain a clean baseball environment for all the players, coaches, and umpires.
Pre-game duties include rubbing mud on game baseballs and transporting bats, balls, towels, and water coolers to both dugouts and bullpens. In-game duties include supplying and retrieving bats, balls, and equipment, and providing ice, drinks, and towels to players, field staff, and umpires. Post-game duties include transporting all equipment from dugouts and bullpens to the clubhouse, sweeping dugout floors, and placing all dugout and bullpen trash into containers. In addition, bat boys will assist clubhouse managers in whatever else needs to be done before and after the game.

The Nashville Sounds are currently seeking energetic individuals to join our promotional team for the 2014 season. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and a commitment to work nights, weekends, and game days is a must. Candidates are required to be available to work at least 50 of the Sounds' 72 home game dates.
A Sounds Promo Team member needs to be able to do the following: feel comfortable in front of large crowds, provide customer service at all times, set-up & execute ALL in-game promotions, lead crowd in cheers/rallies on the dugouts, entertain and interact with the crowd from entrance until exit from Greer Stadium.
Promo team applicants must be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done, have a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task, adhere to Nashville Sounds organizational policies and procedures, have a professional, upbeat, and friendly personality at all times. Applicants should be willing to work outdoors and be able to stand for long periods of time.
Interested individuals should complete both forms and bring them to Greer Stadium on Saturday, March 15th, when we will host Promo Team Tryouts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Sounds' gift shop is looking for experienced, outgoing persons to fill merchandise hawker positions. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and available to work evenings.
Duties of the cashier will include but is not limited to re-stocking merchandise in the Pro Shop and ringing up purchases. Hawkers duties include walking through the stands and selling merchandise to the fans. Outgoing, loud personalities are a must.
You must have retail experience, be able to interact with the public, and must be knowledgeable of computers and handling money. You must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
As an employee in the Fun Zone, your primary responsibility will be to oversee our speed pitch game and to supervise children as they participate in our bungee jump and inflatable games during Sounds baseball games.
We are looking for individuals that are extremely energetic, interactive, and who work well with children. It will be important for you to convey a sense of fun with enthusiasm as well as using good judgment in areas of safety and security of participants. Willingness to work outdoors and ability to stand for long periods of time are required. Prior cash handling experience is preferred.
