Thank you RedHawks fans!

We've seen an overwhelming response for The Oklahoman/Oklahoma City RedHawks National Anthem Tryouts, scheduled for Saturday, March 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Penn Square Mall.

Fans have been able to pre-register for an audition time on okcredhawks.com. So many talented people in Oklahoma have wanted to perform that all pre-registered time slots have been filled in advance of the event.

But it's still not too late to try out!

We encourage everyone to come to the auditions to try out on a standby basis. If the tryouts run ahead of schedule, or if a performer does now show up to their scheduled time, those in the standby line will be chosen to audition. Standby performers will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis and are encouraged to arrive early. The standby line will close at 4:30 p.m.

Good luck to all of the performers on Saturday, March 2nd at Penn Square Mall. Our panel of celebrity judges is looking forward to hearing all of the talented performers in our community.
