Juliana Paoli brings over 15 years of extensive experience in event production, management, marketing and public relations to the San Jose Giants executive team. Her credentials include coordinating special events for nonprofit groups such as Jeremy Affeldt's Generation Alive, Barry Zito's Strikeouts for Troops, Nick Swisher's Swish's Wishes, the Boys and Girls Club Eric Chavez and Mark Kotsay Bowling Bash, Ronnie Lott's All Stars Helping Kids and the Stanford University based Positive Coaching Alliance's National Youth Sports Awards. She began her work on the team side with the Golden Baseball League, as the Inaugural Season General Manager, in the organizational development and launch of the San Diego Surf Dawgs.


Prior to the GBL, Juliana was Vice President at Jill Peterson Management (JPM), where she worked with several high level national corporations coordinating events with marquee major league teams including the New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Oakland A's, and Seattle Mariners. Juliana also produced events with several NFL teams including the Denver Broncos and NBA teams including the Los Angeles Lakers as well as the PGA Championship. Juliana has also given back to Minor League Baseball, serving on the PBEO Steering Committee and several times been a featured speaker at the Business of Baseball Workshop at the Baseball Winter Meetings. She was voted the first ever recipient of the California League Woman of Excellence Award in 2010 and in 2015 became the only honoree to receive the award twice. In 2012, she helped lead the organization to its first-ever California League Excellence in Marketing and Promotions Award which the team was honored with again in 2014. Juliana is currently a member of the BIRCO/MLBAM Advisory Committee and the Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminar Steering Committee. Juliana holds a BA degree in Sociology and a minor in Speech Communication from the University of Washington.


As Chief Marketing Officer of the San Jose Giants, Juliana has spent over a decade developing and implementing an integrated marketing campaign that resulted in revenue breaking records in every budget category. She serves as the leader of several departments including: Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Retail, Community Affairs and Promotions. Juliana has enjoyed the past eleven seasons and is honored to have been part of 2009 John H. Johnson President's Trophy and Baseball America's Bob Freitas award winning staff. She is especially proud to have led the team to its first-ever Larry MacPhail Award in 2014, given annually to the organization with the top marketing and promotions effort. 2017 will mark her second season as the Senior Vice President of Communications, where she will continue to focus on maintaining and expanding the San Jose Giants brand to touch even more lives throughout the South Bay. She is extremely excited to continue to provide the best fun, affordable, family entertainment for San Jose Giants fans and the community.
